The year is 1944; the height of World War II. The US Navy is fighting to establish a position of dominance over the enemy. Tensions are high and the crew is on maximum alert. You are onboard the Steel Shark - the US Navy’s prized submarine, deep in the North Atlantic Ocean on a vitally important mission to spy on the German Battle Cruiser, Scheer. The mission is going smoothly until, without warning, the submarine plunges into the sea. The engines have died and pressure in the cabin is quickly increasing. The hull is cracking under the immense pressure of the seabed and, without power, only 60 minutes of reserve oxygen remains! You and the crew must act quickly so you can continue your mission. If you succeed, you’ll not only survive but will surely become national heroes. Looking around you begin to discover clues that lead you to believe this wasn’t an accident, but sabotage by German secret agents. They have removed six oxygen silos and hidden them around the ship. You’ll need to scour the mess hall, rummage through the control room, and uncover the silos to repair the steel Shark. Can you reinstate the power and help the Steel Shark back to the surface before the entire crew perishes? Oxygen is already running out!

Hard room but I liked the concept. Challenging puzzles and I'd go back to finish it. Rate it 7.5 out of 10

We liked this room and most of the puzzles. They were very challenging, with a couple logic leaps that were a bit odd, but we figured them all out eventually. I liked the challenge and it was a fairly well-made room. My biggest complaint was the staff. We were told to try to arrive 15 minutes early. Due to traffic, 3 of our party of 5 only arrived 5 minutes early. Again, let me emphasize. Still early, not even a minute late. But they took several minutes off our total escape time because of this. The room was cool but I thought that was very uncool of them. We did escape, but only with like 2 minutes left or so, so we could have used those extra 8 minutes they took off our time.

This room was our first experience with Escapology rooms, and it still remains one of our favorite Escapology rooms. The theming was well-done, and there were a variety of different fun puzzles.

Could not recommend this room more. Puzzles were linear and made sense but challenged your thinking at the same time. Felt very immersive and because of that, working with people you just met came easily. Great for team building, favorite room at Escapology I have done (Mansion/Budapest were the others).

Pretty challenging. I’m a fan of Escapology rooms and puzzles so this is no different. One of the harder rooms I recall (with only 3 people) and one I remember proudly for having done rather smoothly. Highly recommend for experienced/advanced players. First timers new to escape rooms I would not recommend this one. Might be frustrating.
