The Heist

What a fantastic heist room. Full disclosure, we totally had an off day. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but we were not at our best. Regardless, this is an amazing room and I kinda want to replay it when my brain is fully operational. One thing Escape Game does so well is to logic everything. Every element in the room, the puzzles and clues all tie back to not only the theme of the room but the story. This is such a hard thing to do and the team here made it look easy. Laura was our GM and honestly was basically the third member of the team for the day as we missed some obvious elements. If you play this one, and this is something I forget, if they tell you not to touch an item it basically means everything else is fair game. After some other locations I’ve played, I don’t do a good enough job of remembering the rules for what is off limits changes based on where you are at. This is a room you really need to play with the environment and you are rewarded for it. I highly recommend this room. Also wear something warm as one of the two rooms that host The Heist is kinda cold and this is coming from someone who loves the cold. Tidbits: Great location and large parking lot in the back (entrance is off the parking lot not the street front) Plenty to do nearby Rebooking discount These are public rooms. Plan accordingly if you are trying to be an introvert.

We had a great time today. Katie our game master was very knowledgeable and kind. We struggled a bit with some of the puzzles that needed refreshing (illegible dry erase marker etc) but overall a fun one. We got out, but needed to add a few mins on top of the hour. Also, bring a taller friend, if you are under 5'4" you will have trouble with one part.

Although a bland theme the room was quite fun! This room (and TEG as a whole) has a lot of a “puzzle” type that I don’t particularly enjoy but it might just be a skill issue of mine and why I don’t like it. The finale was a lil weak but I did enjoy the surprises. As always, the team at TEG is amazing our GM Becca was great!

Tricky! It would be very easy to epicly searchfail this game. Puzzles don't make much sense in-world, and the decoration is just OK. There are better sets and puzzles in most other TEG rooms, but this is still worth it, particularly if you like search puzzles.

Great room with such awesome set pieces! A lot of things are hidden where you would least expect them. I never knew what to anticipate next!
