You WILL be scared. Super fun and very immersive. The team at Nocturne Adventures are friendly and passionate. The scariest room I’ve been in. Highly recommend this room if you want a good scare. Nothing was illogical and the overall flow was very smooth.

Nocturne Adventures is great. Staff were very friendly. We chose the super scary and this particular room should be played no other way. Awesome environment, spooky actors, reasonable puzzles, & and an awesome finale!

This by far was one of the best escape rooms I’ve been to. This was my first time doing an R-rated room with a live actor. The environment was very high stress but looking back was a very fun addition to escaping. The puzzles weren’t too difficult and followed a true-crime story. Overall I recommend this escape room to anyone who loves a good scare and true-crime. Will definitely be going back!

What an experience! We did the “R-Rated” version and loved it! The props, scare factor was incredible. The puzzles were detailed and challenging. The scare factor was unbelievable and only added to the intensity of the game! Now I confess that I can scare easily, but the others with me thrive on it…And even they found it to be intense!

The scariest hour I’ve ever experienced! The tallies on the Ripper door (second photo) represent the number of groups that have completely walked out of the game due to the scare factor. If I could experience Ripper for the first time again, I absolutely would. Nicole, Tom, and Natalie truly knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend playing both games at Nocturne Adventures. If you choose to do so, I advise playing Nevermore before Ripper. There are four scare levels you can choose from for Ripper for a personalized experience! We played Super Scary (with more hiding spots)

There are moments of linear and non-linear gameplay, and all the puzzles flowed well. There are general instructions and nudges given throughout the game that help guide you in the right direction as well

There are four scare levels to choose from. We played a hybrid of R-Rated Scary and Super Scary! We wanted all of the features of Super Scary minus the “less hiding spots,” and they happily accommodated us for the perfect experience! There are several intense moments of hide-and-seek as well as a chase sequence. The lighting is low, but flashlights are provided. The music is loud and intense. Be prepared for an anxiety-filled hour!

We played the R-Rated Super Scary version. Explicit content includes profanity, photos of nudity, acting out of violent scenes, and gory set design. There are PG-13 versions of the game available for a more family friendly experience.

Located in a relatively nondescript house in a residential neighborhood, I couldn't help but feel a bit wary of what we were walking into. Little did I know, I'd end up having some of my all time favorite escape room experiences. (for reference, I'm at around 180 games) They pack two impeccably done games, as well as a professional lobby, into their basement and utilize their limited space in such brilliant ways. Ripper is an immersive haunt/escape room hybrid that seems to win high praise from anyone I've seen talk about it. You can choose your level of scary, and of course we went for the full experience. I am SO glad we did. If you're a fan of horror rooms, the less you can learn about this room, the better. It was a thrill ride start to finish and felt like a truly cinematic experience. Excellent scenic design, soundtrack, lighting, and puzzles that were just the right level of difficult to pair with the ever-present tension all came together to give us an experience I'll remember for a life time. Our crew spent the rest of the day gushing about how great both rooms were. The only disappointment was that they didn't have any additional rooms to play! I would love to see what these creators could do with a giant warehouse and a few million dollars because the creativity on display was truly impressive.

Accessibility
This is a tight space, would likely be hard to navigate in a wheel chair. But the owners are absolutely delightful and extremely accomodating and willing to adjust the experience to personal preference so I would reach out to see how they might accomodate any impairment issues.
