Ripper

There escape rooms and there haunts then their Ripper. If anyone is question whether you should do this the answer is yes even if you don't do haunts or scary. I don't do haunts and still had a good time.

I can't say enough about this room. We did the super scary version. The fact that there's different levels of intensity in the room is a really cool option. This room was an original experience. I have never done one like it before. There is so much thought behind every detail and some amazing surprises and twists. We had first timers and experienced players in our group and everyone had a blast! You know it's good when you're still talking about it days later. I went on back to back weekends because I couldn't wait to do both rooms and to get everyone in on the experience. I can't believe how criminally underrated this place is. I am shouting it from the roof tops: Check This Place Out Now!

We did the super scary version and it was such a thrill! They also provide less scary versions for those who don’t want to s*** their pants. 😅

After completing hundreds of escape rooms in the Carolinas, I can confidently say Nocturne Adventures’ Ripper is in a league of its own! Whether you’re new to escape rooms or a seasoned veteran, I couldn’t recommend Nocturne Adventures more. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing and the perfect way to celebrate a birthday in our group! Nocturne Adventures perfectly blends horror elements and puzzles into the escape room to create an experience like no other! If you have been seeking the scary experience you haven’t been able to find yet, I would highly recommend Ripper’s Super Scary version! You will not find anything like it! For those skeptical that Nocturne Adventures is based in a home, let me assure you that there is no need for concern. The owners and staff were very friendly and hospitable and made our group feel more comfortable than we have even in escape rooms in shopping centers/malls. Nocturne Adventures has set the bar extremely high for future escape rooms. I can’t wait to come back!

DO NOT LET THE ADDRESS FOOL YOU!! Within a simple residential home is one of the scariest escape rooms I've done so far. (One of our team members almost hyperventilated to the point of passing out due to fear.) The Nocturne team has more than a decade of experience in the haunt field and IT SHOWS. (One of the owners use to be a mortician which has helped to create accurate scenes if you catch my drift.) If you are an avid escape room goer play on Super Scary and DON'T LOOK BACK!!

The ambience, the feel, the story, you want a scary escape room, they’ll give you scary! I haven’t felt this scared in a scary room in a while! For Ripper you get to choose what level of scary you get. IMO if you want the full experience, go for very scary. It’s intense. You’ll be on edge the whole time. I loved it! Nocturne has a great balance of story and puzzles. The puzzles have more of the original escape room type puzzles, but they fit the theme and are so fun! If you’re an enthusiast, you got to have this on your list of to do.

The best of the best. Imagine a haunted attraction and escape room in one. Stellar special effects. Amazing staff. And the ability to change the scare level is awesome.

The level of creativity and talent that was put into this game was unbelievable! All of the decor and game pieces were thoughtfully placed with just the right balance needed to feel well immersed without being overwhelmed or cluttered. The puzzle craft was top notch and the flow of the game was super smooth. And if you get stuck, they have a crafty integrated hint system so you're not left working on one puzzle for 20 minutes. They definitely want their gamers to feel entertained and not frustrated. Their escape room was different in that you weren't held against a time constraint; this means you could put all your focus on the puzzle and not have to jump out to go look at a timer. As well, there was ample ambiance to get you absorbed into their exciting story which intensified as it carried on. This added to the excitement since we felt like it was now a race against our impending doom! Music and lighting changes, live actor, a gritty story; it was incredibly intense and so worth it! They nailed it!
