Abstraction

I’ve done over 200 rooms, and actively travel for terpeca level escape rooms mostly in North America. Abstraction - high 4/5 (good room with something distinctive, will happy recommend for traveling enthusiasts). Abstraction is a high concept, immersion focused escape room. The room is definitely meant to be spooky, but for all you scaredy-cats out there (such as myself), it’s pretty tame compared to what’s in Europe, and should not dissuade you from doing the room if you’re into novel escape room experiences. I will say that your enjoyment of the room will largely depend on how into unique spooky atmosphere/immersion you are - you’ll love the room if you are, and might be a bit disappointed if you think puzzles are king and spookiness is a hindrance to puzzle solving since the puzzles were relatively weaker by comparison. Despite not being into spooky stuff, I am into sets and immersion and really liked what they were trying to do with the immersive storytelling in the game - the last act in particular so I liked the game quite a bit.

Un de mes préférés of all time. Très bonne histoire et un jeu qui me semble directement inspiré du jeu vidéo Visage ou Pt. J’ai eu la peur de ma vie avec mes amis ahahaha. 10/10 bravo !

Their enthusiasm and professionalism added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. They were attentive, helpful, and provided just the right amount of guidance when needed. Lastly, the design of the room was awesome - The attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny, enhancing the immersion and making the entire experience feel truly authentic. This escape room is a must-visit for any enthusiast, as it combines a captivating theme, mind-bending puzzles, exceptional staff, and wonderful set design to create an unforgettable adventure.

This game had some memorable moments and a beautiful set. A few puzzles in the middle overstayed their welcome, causing us to loose momentum. The last part of the game was a standout experience that makes the entire game worth trying. I loved the last part!

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it really wasn’t this. Some very fresh and interactive puzzles. A very intricate story that took us through some interesting and diverse environments. I was very scared😂
