Creepy psychological horror with a solid set, an interesting story and a good variety of puzzles, plus a scary final act that had us scrambling! It was a little dark at times for old eyes but the use of lighting and sound to direct attention was well-executed. One slight mixup had us listening to French audio but we somehow got through it anyway and finished with 25 minutes to spare!

I liked this room, but with reservations. 1) It was much dimmer than it needed to be, particularly in the first two acts (the third act's lighting, while dim, felt appropriate). For those of us with less than perfect eyesight, the lighting made it difficult to see/read important information, diminishing our enjoyment. 2) The second act is incongruous in context of the game. When explained afterward it made sense, but it did not make sense while we were playing. We actually groaned when we walked in, because it was a thematic change we weren't expecting and felt arbitrary. It feels like there's a story beat missing before the transition, where players could get a clear narrative confirmation about what's going on (in case they haven't figured it out) which would enhance the second act by giving players the proper context to engage with it. Even so, the second act feels like it belongs in an entirely different game. We were given walkie talkies as a way to get hints, and we hated it. It was an object someone had to carry and track and was completely unthematic. GMs are already watching us on camera, presumably they can also hear us, they should be able to communicate with us through speakers or some other system in the room without walkie-talkies. 3) There's a neat gameplay mechanic in the third act that we enjoyed, but the end of the game came without warning or narrative setup. We solved a puzzle, and stepped through a door expecting to enter a new game space, but instead... it was the lobby hallway and the game was over. It was sudden and anticlimactic. The game is missing a narrative beat here that wraps things up.

eliviascape does such a great job at immersing you in the universe they build, we had a blast! i think i liked judgement day more because of how neatly the plot ties together, but i’m just nitpicking. both games are fantastic and i can’t wait to play the longest night

The graphics are stunning, and the story holds together really well! At first, it took us a little while to figure out what to do, but after that, it flows really smoothly. Watch out for a few jump scares!!

Great atmosphere and gameplay. We ended up in a different scenario by mistake, but we were nearing the end, so it didn't really take away from the game.

My cousin and I did back to back escapes with this room and Judgment Day, and I doubt we’re gonna have another escape night anytime soon that comes close to both the level of quality and fun that we had. Eliviascape definitely leads the way in what top-tier scary escapes Canada has to offer, and imo it’s a must-visit for any enthusiast. DON’T LET BEING A SCARDEY CAT STOP YOU FROM DOING THIS EXCELLENT ROOM!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!

A creepy room but not too scary. Really good use of audio and lighting definitely work to keep the tension high and the expectation of jump scares, but there weren't as many as we had expected. The highlight is the story telling elements and how this how narrative is created about your car crash ; the reason for your being in the hospital. Puzzles are varied and often involved collaboration which was great, but they did feel a little abstract and simple.

Despite not having a (significant) actor presence, the set and what's-going-on story of Abstraction still managed to maintain a tense atmosphere. A late game mechanic was clever and not something I've seen before, and puzzles were much more memorable than in either Legend of the Mayan Warrior or The Longest Night. The biggest negative for me was the (presumably) automated hinting system - it would periodically tell us to try things we were already doing, which was annoying and disruptive. Being able to only get hints when we felt stuck would have been better, or if a human with good judgement was making the decisions.

Briefly in one scene. I'm not sure whether to count them, but I think it enhanced the ambiance.

It's a small parking lot, and while we were able to get a spot, it was also pretty full.

The rooms are really beautiful and cool! The puzzles are fantastic—I especially loved the music-themed one. The horror atmosphere in the last room was awesome!
