Sector X

We really wanted to like this room, and in fairness it has a great theme, the atmosphere is perfect, and the GM was outstanding. But, similar to the other reviews, it was frustrating because the coolest parts of the room were broken. Our GM had to walk in the room and manually complete the majority of the big "a-ha" moments for us. I do want to give a shout out to our GM because she did everything humanly possible to make our experience great and probably deserves a raise! But this room definitely could use a little maintenance and repair.

4.1/10 Our biggest complaint with the other room we played at this venue was the sense that the games haven’t been properly maintained over time, and unfortunately, we felt the same here with Sector X. The atmosphere is a real standout: the space station theme is excellently executed, with strong props and set design that genuinely immerse you in the environment. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully enjoy it because we had to be walked through a majority of the puzzles. Broken elements and missing pieces were frequent, forcing our game master to explain solutions directly. This heavy intervention broke immersion and reduced the satisfaction of solving things ourselves. Like The Terminal, the concept and potential are clearly there, but poor maintenance holds Sector X back significantly. It falls short of what it could be with better upkeep.

The rooms are good here but the facility is not maintained well. This was our second room here and in both rooms there were broken elements that made solving the room impossible. Constant struggle with dead batteries in flashlights and walkie talkies. Clue light was pointing at ceiling and not on the wall where it should have been. Very disappointing for the second time. Very big missed opportunity due to poor running of the facility

If you have ever wanted to step into the movie Alien, this is the escape room for you!! The set is incredible and each puzzle fits so well into it that barely any locks are visible, which is always a perk. Easily the best sci fi room I have done so far!
