It would hurt me inside to not give this room a heart but I really considered it (bad experience due to game-master and pricing strategy/play). It is a shame that most people will not see the amazing ending to this room. This is NOT a 75 minute experience. If this room were to be extended to 90 minutes it would surely be in the Terpeca award contention for many of us. It seems they are more focused on making players come back for a second go money grab rather then enjoyment of the game.

Wow!!! Loved this room. It does NOT disappoint! The amount of little unique details you’ll find as you play the game is stunning. My team and I kept pointing out things that were really impressive. I want to go back just to spend more time exploring the set! Loved the puzzles too.

Definitely a must play room. But do yourself a favor and play the other games first. Save this for last. Trust me

Spooky escaping at its best! So many elements make this one of the best escape room experiences I've ever had. It was a fast paced, nonstop adrenaline rush for the entire 74 minutes & 50 seconds it took us to complete! Previous reviews suggested it wasn't possible to complete on the first or a single visit, but we can confirm that it is - we completed the room with 4 people, 1 of which was an escape room virgin, with a whole 10 seconds to spare! The room is masterfully planned & constructed. I don't think I've ever been in a room quite so fast paced - one puzzle led quickly and naturally to the next. The "room" is huge - it takes place over an entire house with many rooms on multiple levels, which really exploits and encourages team work. The spooky atmosphere is immersive, but wasn't as scary as we were led to believe (a good thing - we came to solve puzzles, not to be scared out of our wits)! I cannot recommend this room highly enough - wish we had more time in the area to play Sanctuary's other rooms.

I have mixed feelings about how to rate this room. It is incredibly immersive, the individual puzzles are not unreasonably hard, and clues were freely given as needed. But with a group of 6 people, actively engaged the whole time, we only managed to get through 52% of the room. I honestly don’t think it’s possible to finish this room in the 75 minutes allotted. I find that frustrating—it feels a bit disingenuous to assign 75 minutes to a room that will take 2-3 hours to complete. I do recommend the game, but if you’re coming from out of town, I’d recommend booking 2 time slots (or even 3). If you’re a local, be prepared to make notes on your first visit so that you can get to the same point as quickly as possible.

I’d recommend 16+ for ages. Our kids have done some mildly spooky rooms, but this was more than they could handle (they are 13 &11). Overall, this is a brilliant room. Really well done and my wife and I will be back to complete it with adults (or when our kids are older)!

Top notch immersion, creepy and spooky without being scary so our entire family could enjoy. There is a lot to do in this room! Game master gave appropriate hints to keep us moving through. Good puzzles and great theming. Can’t wait to go back!

Quite possibly the best escape room I have ever played. Highly recommend. A little spooky, but the details, storyline, and puzzles are amazing. Will definitely play again.

By far one of my favorite games I have played in the industry to date. The game begins with a spooky premise and a fun introduction video before you are taken to the experience which is just a really well-done bit of scenic work. The crew really made something impressive and filled to the brim with spooky details. You will want to play twice just so you can see the details and puzzles you may have not had a chance to see on your first run through of the game.
