From the depths of the ocean, a ship rises with a massive skeleton at the prow, striking fear into the hearts of all pirates. The cursed ship, The Flying Dutchman, sets sail again, led by its ruthless captain. Davy Jones was once a simple man, but he was cursed by the woman he loved to forever sail the oceans of the world and take the souls of the dead to the other world. A very valuable object was stolen from the ship, and the captain wants it back at any cost. You were part of the group of pirates who looted the ship, but you were left behind when you were discovered. Now, you must find an escape from the depths of Davy Jones' ship before it's too late and you're taken prisoner by its cursed crew... forever! The realism of the setting takes you through the whole atmosphere of pirate movies, and the challenges you have to solve make you feel like Captain James Hook or Long John Silver. The semi-linear game and the numerous mechanisms give an extra dynamism to the whole action, so don't think about it! Reserve the chance to spend a real adventure on the famous The Flying Dutchman.

Nice setting, all wooden, theme well represented. Game-play was ok, nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either. Puzzles are easy to medium at most and we escaped in a little over 30 minutes. More suited for beginner level, but a good escape room.
Staff was a bit disinterested and rushed through briefing. We only took one hint, which was very slow to arrive.

The environment was nice and some of puzzles were fun. Unfortunately it is a 12 years old room that really shows its age. Hard to tell when a puzzle had been done or not. Some of the elements that are used to solve puzzles are really worn out. Recommended for beginner players and that have not done many rooms before.

The room had a specific theme and an atmosphere that transported you onto The Flying Dutchman ship. The goal: to escape from the ship before Davy Jones catches you. An exciting storyline with puzzles of moderate to easy difficulty. I recommend it for a family afternoon outing.
