Wizard's Tower

Definitely just wanted to give up towards the end. They said it was non-linear, but it seemed more semi-non-linear. Meaning that some puzzles couldn’t be solved before others, which also caused a whole lot of confusion. One of the puzzles you literally had to guess. The GM said that everyone got the letters mixed up in the same way. Maybe a clue to the owners that their puzzle was bad…? The room was definitely too dark and the tv was broken which caused us not to be sure if we were looking at a mirror that needed to be used. The audible clues had to be the worst part. Just have to remember the next task and good luck if you have more than one going at once… Their Fort Collins rooms were SO GREAT!! This was just such a letdown.

Props and decor were pretty good. game mechanics were a little complicated but unique and interesting. We didn't get close to escaping with 2 people would have been better with 4.

This was better than the Egypt room, but still not a very good experience. The puzzles were better, and we had more fun, but the sound problem was so big that it really took away from the experience. Pasted from my other review: Let's start with a big problem for the whole location: sound, and lack of sound proofing. When you're in a room, you can hear the whole conversation of the people in the lobby, and even the story voice over from other rooms. This meant that while trying to solve the room, I also had to try to not listen to what I heard, as it would be spoilers for the other rooms were going to do. (Spoiler alert: We did hear full story sections of rooms we were playing later)

Super fun room with outstanding interactivity. If you’re not sure what to do, make sure you ask for a clue. There’s at least one (if not a second) where what you need to do isn’t intuitive and no prompt is given to help you. But I highly recommend this room. It was my favorite of the three at this location. GM was awesome, too.

This room is ideal for wizardry aficionados.

This is hands down my favorite escape company so far. All of their rooms are incredibly immersive and their plot event extends between rooms. Just a really great company. This room had great technology elements and really impressive visuals.

Impressive immersion, and unique puzzles. Flow was a bit confusing, and some puzzles were just frustrating, but overall the theme was super fun, and the room had unique elements, I hadn't seen. The best room at this location.
