Find yourself in a secret genetics lab on Isla Nublar and use your wits to solve a serious problem: an apex predator has broken free and is headed your way. This escape room has more teeth (and claws) than anything you’ve experienced before.

Got booked into this room after the other room had technical issues. More of a guided tour with some puzzles but if you fail you’ll be shuffled into the next room. Some of the puzzles were fun while others made no sense and the game master wasn’t exact up to the task to make the room any more fun. Definitely not worth an extra trip for but if you’re in universal and looking for something to do, it’ll do the trick.

the rooms atmosphere and decorations were great, but the puzzles themselves sucked

More of an adventure than an escape room. Very easy.
Just too simple

As a walk-through experience with interactive, escape room-like elements, this is a very unique offering for a theme park that offers something a little different than traditional escape rooms. You will “escape” no matter what, but the real challenge is how quickly you can figure out the puzzle in each room, and you will be given a score for how many tasks you were able to accomplish. So if you go in with that goal in mind, I think you will have a good time. I think it was specifically designed with families in mind, and with the goal of getting people through the experience efficiently while also having a decent amount of time in each room.
Puzzles were fun and engaging, but not too difficult. Most things were touchscreen based, which I think worked for this experience.
The theming was just enough to sell you on the experience, but not over the top.
Yes, they were all friendly!

The story was basic, but engaging enough!
Easy
It’s not super hard to figure out— you feel a little rushed when you first enter a room, but once you figure out the trick of the room, it’s fairly straightforward. We were grouped with a family with two kids, and the lower difficulty helped them to feel engaged as well.
High tech
Most interactions are done on a touchscreen interface, and some special effects happen throughout the experience

Spooky
Not overly scary, but there are occasionally loud sound effects that are meant to “jumpscare” you

I think it is pretty child friendly— if an adult also helps them, because sometimes a lot of information is thrown at you at once. There was one room that I think was especially made with kids in mind— there was a simple activity that needed to be done alongside a harder puzzle.

If you make a reservation for the escape room, they will give you free parking to Universal’s parking garage— but that wasn’t so clear at first.

Beautiful theming, interesting effects, terrible gameplay. Hope it receives the update given to the Back to the Future room.

The worse experience ever... if you like real escape rooms this are not... its a walk through badly made. Avoid

We just played the Jurassic World Escape and, despite it not being a traditional escape experience, I thoroughly enjoyed the room! We did a bit better than the average group and only had 2ppl, so it’s totally possible to do really well in this room with a bigger group.

While I did enjoy it, it’s not so much “escaping” as it is “experiencing” if that makes sense

The theme is good due to the budget but as this is an escape experience rather than a game there are not many puzzles. You will be moved from room to room regardless as there will be another teaming coming in behind you - this also means you cannot leave and come back at any time. For the cost these are super expensive and would recommend heading to The Bureau instead!

This is not your typical escape room. It is better described as an escape room-type experience.
