Puzzles 🧩: 8/10 Set/Wow Factor ✨: 9/10 Story/Immersion 🔮: 9/10 Fun factor 🤘: 8.5/10 Outline was a thrilling experience, in a massive and well-built set, with many puzzles, and game flow/design that were perfectly executed to have the intended effect on those who dare to play the game. We had two frustrating moments: the initial start (put in the right code in a keypad but didn't get any validation and had to push harder physically to open a door, losing quite a bit of time); found some clues to be unnecessarily ambiguous and poorly lit, but there were still some fun moments. While not being huge horror fans, the room was not as scary as you'd think (foreshadowing to prepare you when to expect a jump scare) making it more accessible, and we recommend actors if you are on the fence.

Outline is fantastic. Straight up one of the absolutely best horror rooms in Spain. The actors move SO silently and quickly, they appear and disappear in seemingly impossible scenarios, and they are unrelentingly terrifying in every way imaginable. The choreography and timing are second to none. It’s an absolute must play in the Barcelona market.

Many cool implementations and great equipment throughout. Some areas were a bit too dark to properly solve the puzzles. A little more light would improve the experience, as it would also allow you to better see and appreciate the real and beautiful set designs. While the darkness definitely adds to the creepy atmosphere, it also takes away from the surroundings and details. Overall, a lot of things were done very well, with only a few minor points where I would make deductions.

the game that made my 21-year-old daughter cry (and we played it on light mode). Not because the actors did anything wrong, but because it’s a game of unrelenting tension. The control of space… hallways and lighting as psychology… is exceptional.

This game is a masterpiece 👏🏻 WOW, it is definitely the scariest I have played (way more than La Santa for example). The usage of lighting and sound is done perfectly and what's even more incredible is that the owner still operates it! The sets are beautifully designed, which is such a shame that there is such low light but the again, that's the point for the psychological horror it creates. IMO this game is best played with 3 people, maximum 4 for the best immersion. All the puzzles flow nicely into the theme and the game begins and ends with a bang! truly great! DO NOT MISS this game if you are in Barcelona, heck, I'd even travel from Madrid to do it.

This is an absolute treat, though it's the least favorite of the three horror games I played in Barcelona (See spoilers below for why). I'd volunteered to translate for our group (only Spanish was available for this month), but the GM surprised us in turning to perfect English when he saw only two of us could speak Spanish - I wouldn't count on this working so bring at least one Spanish speaker and have them go first if you think you might need it :) ) Outline had the best set of the three rooms, with also the single best puzzle of the three, although it's disappointingly inconsistent in puzzle quality (NightShift and La Posesión have much better puzzles overall), and some of the puzzles make 0 sense in this world. Outline is far less intense than I had expected (but with 6 people it's unlikely you'll ever be "alone" when jumpscared - you can always bring a friend along and go in twos or threes) - so, if you want a true horror experience, perhaps try it with 3? :) It is less intense than La Posesión and maybe a bit more than Night Shift (but Night Shift will have more touching). I was touched twice in Outline - once as a surprise and once in a situation where I had plenty of warning (you could say I volunteered for it...), which is a lot less than I expected. One person gets "stuck" in a very "touchy" situation (IYKYK), and this is NOT volunteered... so be ready! I often went "first" in the exploration and volunteered to be the "lucky volunteer" twice where I expected to be touched - one time it happened and the other it didn't (the game's trailer gives you a hint as to what the "big split" involves - this is also the standout puzzle!) One teammate had her hair pulled back in an intense actor interaction, which went too far for her, and I was touched during the same moment. The standout puzzle is excellent for the "lucky volunteer" and terrifying for everyone, though it is absolutely boiling for the volunteer (me). Try to go in Winter... September was too hot for me and others in this international group, and you will leave many Barcelona escape rooms drenched in sweat (not to mention covered in dust... the dust does NOT add to the experience.) MINOR SPOILERS One big bummer which made this my least favorite of the three horror games: a really mediocre last third of the game that could be found in any tertiary escape room market with a mix of likes and dislikes. There's a puzzle which is impossible to see due to low lighting and small text, and we solved it only using some guesswork. There's a color-based puzzle which makes green, black and blue look identical and, when asked, the actor told us "that's intentional because if we had more light, then the puzzle would be too easy." (I did think of asking: what about making an actually good puzzle? :) ). The entire third could be cut (with the exception of the last 2 minutes - very fun), or it should be reworked and/or sped up (maybe by providing more light so you could skip through it), and it would be a much better game.

Very good English speaking GM… every moment you never know if someone else is with you… definitely recommend…

Unequivocally one of the most impressive horror experiences I've encountered globally. A remarkable space with absurdly talented actors. Wow.

Just a slight thumbs up. Some puzzles are excellent, others rather weak. The design is impressive, but other style elements like the music feel too weak or cheaply done. You get incredibly dirty—so much so that there’s a risk the stains won’t come out even after washing. After the intense two hours, there’s no water offered for drinking or washing. Taxi drivers are not happy to pick people up in that condition.
