Hidden Needle Tattoo Parlor

My wife and I made a 4hr roadtrip to play all three of the rooms at The Exit Games. Based on the reviews and having over 120 rooms under our belt, I had high expectations. All three of their rooms lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed all of the rooms. They are all so fun but also so different that it is difficult to select a favorite. We were only a group of two and we were able to escape all the rooms. Our GM Riley was awesome. She had a very energetic personality and really got into the characters to introduce the rooms. We are not into tattoos ourselves, but I thought this room was very unique and cool. The music was awesome. The theme was great and the puzzles really fit the theme. The music and theme were so good in fact that I found myself getting distracted from the tasks at hand. Lol. All of the puzzles made sense and flowed well but were challenging enough to make it fun. The last puzzle/task was definitely one of the most unique and memorable I have ever done. Even if you are not into tattoos, I highly recommend this room and the other rooms here.

We had a great time doing Hidden Needle! Alex, aka DragonBreath, was our GM and did an excellent job. The scenario character he portrayed did a great job of putting the usual escape room instructions (don’t damage anything, etc.) into a creative, room-specific context. Yes, it involved some back-and-forth improv before the start of the game, so if you just want to jump straight in, be aware that it will take a few minutes to get to the point where you can go in. The room itself was well done in atmosphere, props, and puzzles, including a few creative puzzles we hadn’t seen before. It wasn’t the most difficult room we’ve ever done and we escaped with 7 minutes to go. We’ve done Dog Gone Alley and we’ll be back again tomorrow for Outage, so that should indicate the quality of the rooms at Exit Games, but just in case: we highly recommend this and other Exit rooms!

Really good game with many excellent puzzles. We had a ton of fun in this game. There were a puzzle or two that are somewhat obscure, but we finished the game with plenty of time on the clock. Personal preference criticism: I don’t need actors in the game or the game masters to be in character. If they are, I’m ok with it, but make it short and sweet. In both games we played here, this whole charade went on for what felt like forever. We really just want to play the game. In the Hangover game, the in-character GM went on and on and on and on, pausing sometimes to remember their lines. To the point that it honestly became uncomfortable. I can understand wanting to be different from other escape rooms in this aspect. But in my honest opinion, their scripts need serious editing. Again, this is my own personal preference….other players may eat this kind of thing up….like the ones who stand in line for hours to hug a fake Disney princess. To each their own.

A wonderful room, extremely immersive and on-theme the entire time . I loved the puzzle variety and in particular one of the last puzzles - it was one of the most unique I’ve ever done !

An incredible room. There's a reason it wins awards and put this at the top of your list as a must-do if you are in the area. Hell, it's worth seeking this one out! Incredible set with tattoo related puzzles! A unique experience, one you will love! Lives up to the hype and the new location is so much better!

Just did the tattoo parlor! It was our 3rd room here at The Exit Games! This room was so awesome and our game master Jacob was so enthusiastic and really got into character! Amazing experience
