An aristocratic family member has been murdered. Some are calling it the “Perfect Crime”. You and your group of brilliant investigators made a new discovery that has led to a hot pursuit which might shed new light on the truth. Maybe it wasn’t the perfect crime after all?

Rating: 3/5 Solid room, I enjoyed it, but there are better rooms in the area. The theming was decent and there were no padlocks, everything was electronically triggered. It was easier than expected considering it’s their “expert” room. Personally, I wasn't a fan of some of the puzzle types but obviously that's very subjective and I think my teammates enjoyed them more. I also wish that there were more things to discover as the entire room was available from the start, no secret areas. The GM was very friendly though we did have 1 panel that got stuck and didn’t open when it was supposed to. I would recommend 2-4 players if you are enthusiasts as there wasn't enough to do for our team of 5, not recommended for people with limited mobility as there are stairs in the room.

A room where a perfect crime was committed. Your objective? Find out who the victim is, what they were killed with, the date they were killed, and where the killer fled to. There were two rooms, which you had access to immediately. The beginning was a bit of a slow start, as most of the puzzles needed an additional item you had to unlock. Once we started unlocking items, we were able to start working independently. I thought a couple of the puzzles were really unique (the one where you were able to find the person who was killed was REALLY cool). I thought most of the puzzles were pretty straight forward. We only used one hint, everything else was pretty intuitive. We’ve done two of the rooms at Paniq (and an additional room from the previous escape room owner that they kept on) and this is my favorite of the three.
GMs here are always great! This is the second room we’ve done at this location and both GMs were great!

If you like Clue, this seems kind of similar!

They said this was their expert room, but our group of 5 finished in 43 minutes with just one hint. There were some moments where we were kind of standing around without anything to do but, once we started finding clues, having five people helped as we were able to work on multiple things at once.

Very few locks!

We played with 5 and I thought around that amount is perfect! There were times the room was more linear as you were only working on a few things but once you started opening drawers and finding clues, we were able to work on multiple puzzles at once.

Nothing too adult in the room, but I imagine the theme and the height of some of the things would be a hindrance for children.

There are steps up and down into both rooms, so definitely not recommend for people with mobility issues or difficulty going up and down steps.

This is in a popular spot in Indianapolis. We did the room at 7:30 PM on a weeknight and had no problem finding parking right by, but if you’re going during the day or a weekend, might be more difficult.

This room was pretty neat and the puzzles were interesting. We had a great GM too which helps make the experience even better.
