Spooky atmosphere and a few well-crafted jump scares. Setting is your classic haunted house set up. Some puzzles were challenging but all made sense in the end and were well-clued without being too too obvious which is appreciated. The room is clearly well-used/older but since it’s a spooky room it doesn’t make much of a difference as everything ran well. A few odd choices theming-wise for puzzles but (science and lab stuff was involved randomly halfway through do a puzzle or two) but overall I’d recommend this room if you’re at the location. It’s nothing showstopping but for downtown Toronto rooms it’s pretty good.

I think this room has the potential to be really great. They do a good job of creating a spooky atmosphere throughout and having some cool puzzle types. There's a good mix of intuitive and logical puzzles as well as some others that are a bit tricker and complex. We did this room as a team of two but I think four would be ideal given the amount of puzzles. A couple things that negatively impacted our experience: 1) the hint system: They gave us a phone and said that when we press a button in the room, an employee will call us on the phone to help us. However, 90% of the time a worker would just open the door and come in to the room. Also, there seemed to be some disorganization as multiple times someone would open the door to the room and come in to see if we had been helped already after someone had already come in a few seconds earlier to give us a hint. Having people unexpectedly opening the door and coming in to the room (especially in a scary themed room!) was really frustrating and broke the immersive feel. 2) Some aspects of the room were not placed back in order prior to our start (i.e. lock that was already unlocked when we got to it). I really liked their creativity both in the room design and puzzles types and I think if they can iron out some of these kinks in the execution of everything, then it would be an awesome room.

I would give this room a 8/10! Lots of technology, some spooks for sure. Good atmosphere, mostly really well constructed technology puzzles that fit the theme. One small issue with one of the technology puzzles, which 2 GM’s had to help with (very forgivable though since the company is so new). I look forward to trying their other rooms! It’s a new company that clearly cares about making good rooms so you should definitely support them because of that!
