this room was very disappointing - it’s the size of a closet with no additional areas opening up and the main gimmick gets really tired. customer service is also lacking - i’d rather have the pre game spiel from a host, not from an ipad. elements of certain puzzles were not working (one of which was sooo frustrating because it was literally just a screw needing tightening - two second fix). overall disappointing, i’m glad i wasn’t the one paying for this experience and i won’t be coming back to enigma

Really really and I can’t stress this enough … REALLY BAD!!!!

I went into this room thinking my experience was going to be subpar, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised! Fairytales is a single room with 14 puzzles that you can complete in any order (not a spoiler; the GM tells you all of this before the game starts). It was nice to be able to pick and choose what I wanted to work on, and know how many puzzles were remaining. There were a good variety of puzzles. Some were quick 10 second solves, while others required more work. Based on the size of the room, I wouldn’t recommend going with more than 2 people. The room design was pretty basic, with cheapish looking wallpaper and set pieces. The actual puzzles, however, looked decent enough and worked without issue. If you love an escape room with a great set, this room isn’t for you and you will be disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to do this room. But if you’re downtown and need to scratch that puzzle itch, than this room isn’t a terrible option.

Very simple clues. A bit too straightforward. Did not feel immersed in the theme.
