The Dunny

Loved it but definitely needed hints to get passed some sections. If your team is going to rely on hints then its still challenging. The hints are cryptic clues and still need to be solved.

We were done extremely dirty by the hint system, which relies on prerecorded audio clips. We were offered the same hint 3 times, despite already having completed what the hint was leading us to, leaving us highly confused and frustrated. When we confronted our game master following the game, she replied that she was not the one responsible for giving us those hints. Additionally, the locker which we had stored 7 bags (for 7 people) in, had been opened upon our conclusion of the game, and left unlocked by a staff member- this posed a serious safety and security risk to our valuables, and we were left disappointed with our experience, despite escaping with ample time and much success.

Great for a larger group, a fun theme and quite a big and varied room

A fantastic experience, and a very unique theme for an escape room too. This room really tested our teamwork and communicate, with some clever and unique puzzles - and a few fun surprises too. Atmosphere was absolutely incredible, and a clear but simple story wraps the room together nicely.

Just needed the loo, but what awaited outside The Dunny was absolutely beautiful. Challenging puzzles, heaps of teamwork, but good balance of thinking. Dark in the room, part of the theme, so lanterns are well used. Goregously designed, brilliant!

Well this was an experience I don’t think I could really get anywhere else. An Australian outback outhouse escape!! The idea is awesome and the execution was flawless with so many nods to Australian culture it was fantastic. Not to mention the puzzles were so much fun and I spent the whole experience grinning ear to ear. Also there’s some light horror elements so you may even get a little scare!
