The production design was truly impressive, I enjoyed most of the puzzles, I found the story to be abstract and difficult to parse. Our GM explained it to us at the end and while I appreciate what they were going for I don’t feel like they successfully communicated the beats in this medium. That said, I’d still recommend it for its impressive use of production design and interesting gameplay.

I’ll start with the story doesn’t make sense and honestly it doesn’t even matter. Still an amazing game. Puzzles are fun. Many different elements And one of the most unique set designs I’ve ever seen. Game master was amazing. Highly recommend this room. I would play it again. Excited to try the other ones

A lot of the comments say that the story doesn’t make sense. I agree, however, it does not take away from the quality of the room. There were a lot of really cool puzzles and very cool interactive features. Out of all the other rooms in this location I definitely recommend doing this one.

Tricky start and trippy ending. Unfortunately, a rough puzzle toward the end, an iffy GM experience and some whacky signposting kept this from being a standout game.

Our host Pluto was really fantastic and made sure we had a great time. As far as the room itself, the set design was beautiful but the story felt very confusing. It was almost like they randomly combined a couple different sets.
Our host Pluto was amazing, kind, thoughtful

At one point, Maze Rooms spammed the Morty reviews for this and their other games with fulsomely positive reviews. Kudos to Morty for cleaning up the spam-- but I want to mention that this kind of behavior from an escape room company is a real abuse of players' trust, and makes it hard for me to get excited about their games in the future. Putting that aside, this was a vexing and perplexing game. Maze Room have clearly devoted real care into set design; the set pulls one trick in particular that was truly impressive. But they’ve skimped in weird ways. Hints are delivered through a walkie-talkie— and if you leave the walkie talkie in the wrong place, it ends up being inaccessible for the rest of the game, which means you can’t get hints. Plus, in a later room, doing the wrong thing to one prop renders it unusable, making it impossible to solve a particular puzzle. And then there's the storyline, which registers as disjointed for a lot of players. I think I understood what Maze Room were going for, and I appreciate the fact that they were trying something different. I liked the weirdness of it and I always applaud taking artistic risks! Unfortunately, I see where the complaints are coming from; the story just isn’t conveyed in an effective way. In short, this is a game with a lot of intriguing and promising elements, and is worth playing if you want to try something different and you don’t mind the potential for frustration. But it’s a severely flawed game, and I left feeling defeated even though we managed to escape in time.

Super cool room with a unique story line! You’re stuck in avalanche, stumble into the wrong cabin, and hallucinate. The mechanics were super high tech with a really awesome transition sequence. All the puzzles make sense. High thumbs up!
