We had fun but we didn’t really know where to go with the puzzles as there was no noise or anything when some of the parts would open.
There was nothing really guiding us to what to do next. We didn’t hear when boxes or other objects would open.

Fairly basic room, very linear. A good one for beginners or kids. But the theme was kind of bland. Still, I enjoyed it.

This room is mostly for little kids but if you have little kids they'll probably enjoy it.

Mechanically, has some brief, elaborate and impressive hidden designs. Story isn’t the best/most engaging. That combined with a smaller space can make this room a bit frustrating/less fun. I would not go again to this specific theme, but I would give this company another try again before my final verdict.

Interesting regarding the history/folktales of the Nisse and a different look at Christmas traditions.

Parking was available across the street, near the shop, but depending on the time of day you may encounter issues finding anything immediately close by, and Solvang is not an ADA accessible town.

Cute little single room with basic mechanical puzzles. Fun for an hour but don’t have high expectations, especially if you’ve done other rooms before
Friendly but wasn’t paying attention.

Some puzzles were not reset from the previous group. Magnetic box left open. We had to close it without looking n so we could get the full experience.

10/10 do NOT recommend. This room was just all bad. From the start with our GM who went off about the rules to his transition of being an elf was cringy. The final puzzle we finished but there was a defect so it was very anticlimactic. Save your money.

Pretty easy game. Very cute though, and has a degree of charm to it. Is not friendly to large groups though, as the puzzles are more linear and the space will get cramped for any more than 2 or 3.

This game was just meh. I think the final puzzle was faulty and way too much to do. The game master was rude in a sense that the rules were “don’t do this or you’ll piss us off, someone did this last time and you guys just make our job harder” like what? Who just starts talking shit during the rules lol I’ve done about 60 games and this is for sure top 5 most disliked rooms.

This is about what you would expect for a beginner/kid friendly game in a very touristy area. I brought my 8 yr old niece, and she had a lot of fun with some help. Staff was nice but unenthusiastic, and the introduction to the room was monotone and rushed. I think explaining what a “nisse” is (like an elf or gnome) would have added much more. The puzzles were fun, but the props were quite worn. There is a decent flow to the game, and it wasn’t difficult to figure out what to do next. I think for beginners or if you have kids, this will scratch the itch. Plus it’s in a great location right in town.

This room had its ups and downs to it. Given the space, it was pretty well put together. Some of the elements were both informational and kind of cheesy in the charming sense. Staff was indifferent to us being there and didn’t seem to enjoy themselves working. Room was a single space and one of the puzzles was pretty tedious. But, if you’re in the Christmas spirit, give it a shot!
