I was skeptical of the theme when I went in but the immersive, evocative presentation and unique, custom-designed puzzles brought me over enthusiastically by the end.
This is one of my favorite escape room experiences now. There is one puzzle in particular that I loved, a signature piece that is innovative, interesting, and perfectly tied to the theme. Youβll know it when you see it.
Highly recommended.
Really fantastic presentation that meshed gameplay with theme.
I am not particularly a fan of the movie, but once I played this escape room I was sold on the theme. They did a great job evoking the movie, with some puzzles that are uniquely suited to the theme. There were several areas that open up and they are varied and interesting. The props, lighting, and audio were all evocative. Just an excellent presentation.
Professional staff. No notes.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
One of the puzzles in this room is probably my favorite of all escape rooms I have been in. I wonβt spoil it but it meshed with the theme really well, was intricate but fair, and lent a rising tension that landed with an exciting payoff when solved. A careful, unique design made for a signature experience that put this room over the top.
Since it was based on a movie, the story wasnβt original, but it hewed closely to the story and did a good job evoking it.
Lots of high tech affordances made this an engaging solve.
It wasnβt particularly scary but there were some eerily lit spaces, ominous sound effects, etc. If you can handle the scare factor of the movies, then you should be fine.
Physically active
Somewhat
There wasnβt anything physically taxing but there were some narrow passages and a staircase.
Accessibility
There is a staircase and a narrow passage that would make it difficult for a person in a wheelchair to participate with some of the puzzles.
Itβs in a strip mall off of a Main Street, well indicated with a light up sign.
