This was a must do room during our trip to New York due to all the rave reviews on Morty. So glad we were able to do this room, it was very unique, with fantastic puzzles and effects.
Room and puzzles flowed well! Very clever puzzles that fit well with the theme
Set design was fantastic. Props and effects were used imaginatively to create an immersive experience.
Our GM (Dexter) was fantastic! So friendly and in character.

Great story, and clearly made with love, with a mixture of mechanical and technical aspects. The owner gave me a small discount, as I played the room alone.

This game is just beautiful. It’s intimate in the best way possible. It’s a quiet, extremely well designed game and it’s incredible. You don’t need to be well versed in the theater world to play this game, but you’ll get more out of it if you have a background in it, because this game is a love letter to drama and theater. This is a fantastic game. Play it.
Very well designed puzzles.
Every inch of this room was purposefully crafted.

Many fun interactions you never get to normally do.
Some of the best story integration I’ve ever seen in an escape room.

Although it gets dark and a tiny bit eerie at times, it’s more ethereal than anything else.

This was a really fun idea for a room! I really enjoyed most of the puzzles present in this room. In my opinion, two of the puzzles towards the end of this game lacked a little bit of clarity which made them more challenging. Aside from that, the puzzles flowed well and made sense.
The gameplay of this room was pretty unique! I liked the ideas that went into the puzzles and there were plenty of things for multiple people to work on. My biggest issue is that some of the puzzles were lacking clarity. Especially toward the end, it felt as though a couple of clues pointed towards incorrect solutions which was frustrating.
The set design was relatively simplistic but very effective. Each room made a lot of sense for the storyline and felt immersive. Some parts of the room were a little too dark to be able to easily see the clues though.
The game master was kind and provided help when we needed it.

I’ve never done another escape room with this theme so it felt very unique. As a theatre major, I really enjoyed doing my first escape room with a theatre related theme.
I liked the story a lot! It was unique and executed well!

I think that this was a little bit harder than the Montauk Project. Most of this increase in the level of difficulty took place towards the end of the room in my opinion. Two puzzles in particular took us longer than they should have.
There was a mix.

Multiple times in this room there were two puzzles being worked on at once. It would be ideal to be able to split up into pairs of two.
Spooky
Somewhere between not scary and spooky. There were no jump scares, ghosts were just a part of the storyline.

On the condition that the participant isn’t super easily spooked.

Some spaces were relatively small but that is the only factor that I can imagine would impact being with mobility restrictions. One puzzles utilized scent and one puzzle utilized color.

This room was so good. It has been on our list to try for awhile and I am so happy we got to do the room. The concept of the room is fun and after doing many escape rooms, it is always exciting to see something new in a room! I see why this room is nominated year after year. Such fun game play and the immersion is spot on. If you are looking for a fun room, make sure to give this room a try!
Parker was awesome and very hospitable! Definitely knew what she was talking about and was a great GM!

Ghost Light is an experience you can’t miss while you’re in Brooklyn! This room made me believe I was backstage in an haunted theater. There were some mild spooky elements, but not enough to scare me even though I’m a big scaredy cat. All of the puzzles were thematic and satisfying to solve. 10/10!

Such a beautiful room with a lovely story. Fully immersive with amazing GM. We escaped with 6 mins left but wanted to stay longer to just look around the set and design.
