A few days ago, your son Daniel received a letter from a TV station. Its message was essential that Daniel won the Outstanding Young Biologist Award. The station invited him to participate in an interview and award ceremony on May 15th. It’s now May 15th, and there are only 90 minutes before the TV station arrives at your son’s study room for the interview. But Daniel isn’t home, and you cannot reach him. You don’t know if his study room is already organized and prepared for filming. So, you find the study keycard your husband left and decide to go in to help your son clean up.

A malfunctioning device and an inattentive GM made for an extremely lackluster experience. There was one point where we were asking for hints, but since he lost his walkie talkie, we had no one to help. The fact that he is role playing a specific perspective as your game master also implies that he is a biased source of advice (he specifically made this point before we began). There were times we were stuck on a puzzle and it was no longer fun, but he wouldn’t just give us a straight answer. I’m also not a fan of poorly lit rooms. I could see this being more enjoyable with working machinery and a GM who wasn’t overworked with having to attend multiple escape rooms simultaneously. Overall, terrible experience. I would not recommend this room to a friend.

The plot of this room is very intriguing. The experience of uncovering the clues about "your son's" life constantly kept us guessing. While I didn't necessarily love this escape room to put it in my top favorites, I appreciated the effort put into the storyline that makes it especially memorable to me. The puzzles itself weren't especially amazing, but they required a lot of thinking and perspective. One thing that would be nice is an update on the items/props. Some of the props felt a little dirty and damaged.
Linear play
It's well made, but not super intuitive with some parts.
GM was friendly and helped walk.us through some of the hints that we definitely needed.

Impairment friendly, but maybe not great for those who experience seizures for one part of the experience.

Immersive type of game. If you prefer good story over surprise devices, this could be a good candidate.

This is one of the rooms that focus more on the story than solving the puzzle. The operations needed were relatively simple. I wish it had more types of puzzles.
