Seven Hills Asylum

With three people, which I believe is the ideal group size for this escape room, we took on the challenge. The playing area was relatively small and featured classic lock puzzles set in the atmosphere of a mental asylum, accompanied by a slightly eerie mood. We had 60 minutes to solve the tasks. The introduction, as well as some later scenes, were brought to life through well-executed acting performances. At certain points, we needed assistance, while other puzzles were easier to solve. Puzzle enthusiasts will definitely enjoy this room. It's an excellent introduction for gradually getting accustomed to darker, scarier scenarios. Zu dritt, was meiner Meinung nach die ideale Gruppengröße für diesen Escape Rooms ist, nahmen wir uns diesem Raum an. Die Spielfläche war eher klein und bot klassische Schlossrätsel in der Kulisse einer Nervenanstalt, begleitet von einer leicht gruseligen Atmosphäre. Wir hatten 60 Minuten Zeit, um die Aufgaben zu lösen. Besonders der Einstieg sowie einige spätere Szenen wurden durch gelungene Schauspieleinlagen spannend inszeniert. An manchen Stellen brauchten wir Unterstützung, während uns andere Rätsel leichter fielen. Rätselliebhaber kommen hier definitiv auf ihre Kosten. Der Raum ist ein idealer Einstieg, um sich langsam an düstere, gruselige Szenarien heranzutasten.

I really like this room. The Puzzles were creative and innovative but simple at the same time. No crazy technology or something like that just a dedicated Gamemaster and good atmosphere. I think THIS should be the measuring scale for "normal" escape rooms. Just a good room, with good decorations and music. And a Gamemaster who also likes to have some fun. There were actually some great Jumpscares thanks to them! I really love it since it checks all the boxes. It is nothing crazy like other rooms, but well rounded. Overall: 7.5/10
