This is the 4th room at Clever Cat that I've played. I debated a long time before giving this negative review. Some parts of the experience were very good; however, they were outweighed by the parts that were not.

Gameplay

This is where issues are. First, it is a linear room -- one puzzle gives you one clue to be used on the next puzzle. Linear is okay if it is also storytelling. There was no more story beyond the opening scene. Second, a lot of the puzzles did not feel organic. By that, I mean we could not figure out how the puzzle was set up and therefore decide what to do. Third, one of the puzzles had a half-n-half solution. Even though all the pieces were in the same theme, we had to look at some of them and count, while others we had to notice what had been cleverly removed.

Atmosphere

This was the positive side of the coin. Of the four Clever Cat experiences I've seen so far, this room is by far the most immersive. The details in the rooms were fantastic.

I moved a set piece, thinking something might be hiding under it. It fell apart into cloth and a piece of foam. thankfully, it had no bearing on gameplay
