Temporarily Closed - A storm is rolling in, and the DeLaporte’s annual carnival ball is supposed to start in an hour. Problem is, all the lights in the house are on the fritz. All wires in the grand estate mysteriously lead to the recently discovered attic bedroom of Uncle Remy DeLaporte, a kooky inventor who once claimed to have invented a perpetual motion machine. Can you restore the power before the ball starts?

By the time we did this room, multiple puzzles were so worn down we were unable to solve them. Definitely too dimly lit for middle aged eyes. Total bummer, because clearly a lot went into the inventive design.

They had some clever games. There is lots to look at and explore. I did it with my spouse and we loved it. Also, the coolest waiting room. The experience starts the minute you walk in the door. Plus the staff is in costume and in character. (But they aren’t IN the game with you.)

I know i am in the minority, but did not care of the room. 3 different props didnt work. ALSO, i know the whole game is about immersion. But, I asked one of the workers if my car was ok parked where it was and couldn't even get a straight answer.

Great room. Quality production value, interesting puzzles, and the coolest escape room waiting room I’ve ever seen. Only downside is that we played in a group of six because it’s a public room, but the room is really more suited for 3-4 people.

A really fun room! Make sure to come early to view the waiting area!

Come early to spend time exploring the lobby. It’s transporting and rooted in New Orleans oddities and ephemera. That theme and the story related by our guide carried through into the room itself. This room has some unusual puzzles and they are thematically integrated. Parts of the room can be worked in parallel, making it good for 4-6 players.
I fully thought I was in an attic
Laszlo was one of the best game masters we have ever had. He seamlessly integrated the rules and story setup with smooth proficiency, all in character. Any clues he gave came at just the right time, with barely enough of a nudge to get us unstuck. He was truly an outstanding GM.

We were only able to put together a team of three for this room and another person or two would have been nice due to the number of puzzles and the difficulty. Our host was very helpful in making up for our player deficit and even let us go over by a minute so we could get everything done which was so appreciated. Especially since the last little puzzle was the only one that was disjointed from the central theme. At least I couldn’t see how it fit. (Though it is not uncommon for me to be confused) The whole place was immersive to the point that I was unsure the entrance was where we were supposed to go! The lore they’ve built here is really impressive and the puzzles are unique and inventive. Love the audio effects that tell everyone in the room “guys! Something is about to happen!” so everyone can be part of the reveals. There were a couple times we had to get out the flashlights on our phones to read things since we are an over 50 crowd. This place is a must play.
A real great collection of old furniture and decor set off the old family mansion vibe.

I’ve never experienced a game that was quite as immersive. It starts as soon as you enter the lobby and that plus the game master make the experience even more enjoyable. The puzzles were unique. We completed it with 2 people. The pricing is based on the number of players in the room. I wish it wasn’t so expensive to play with only 2 players, because we would do another room there in a heartbeat.
Very creative puzzles. Hardly any lock and key puzzles.
Extremely immersive. The entire location is designed as one “set”. You are in the story as soon as you set foot through the lobby door.
The GM never broke character and he acted like he lived in the “house”. He was more than a game master.
