291 escape rooms
Rating: 3/5 - Interesting vibe at this company, but this room is just OK in 2026 Pros: ➕ Immersion starts at the entrance to the building, the GM played a character for the intro. ➕ The building itself was interesting and had an unique vibe for an escape room company. ➕ Puzzles were decent, but nothing particularly fun. ➕ Set looked appropriate to the theme with lots of antique items. ➕ More than a single room to explore. ➕ Mostly padlock based, but had some minor tech ➕ GM was friendly, though we didn't really need any hints. Room for improvement: ➖Overall the room and puzzle style just feels dated in 2026. Their website says this room opened in 2015 and it does feel like a 10+ year old room. ➖ The quality of room vs. the price of the ticket is not good, especially with only 2-3 players. These are some of the most expensive rooms (per player) in New Orleans/Baton Rouge area while having some of the least impressive sets and gameplay. We played as a team of 3 enthusiasts and finished with a lot of time left, it is not a difficult room, I'd recommend 2-3 enthusiasts. My ranking of all 3 rooms I played here (Inventor's Attic wasn't open): 1. Smuggler's Den 2. Jazz Parlor 3. Mardi Gras Study
