16 escape rooms
Vandemic is built around a great concept — escaping from a prison van — and it’s refreshing to do an escape room that isn’t inside a traditional building. Unfortunately, the experience is held back by the condition of the van itself, which felt old, worn, and even leaking enough to give one of us a wet trouser before we’d even started. 👍 What We Liked • The concept — A prison van escape is a clever idea and something different from standard room setups. • Outdoor setting — Being outside of a building gives the experience a unique feel and adds to the immersion. 👎 What Could Be Better • Very small space — Realistically suited to a maximum of three players; any more feels cramped. • Puzzle difficulty was inconsistent — Some puzzles were fine, but others were so simple you could guess the answers without solving them. • The van felt old — Not in a thematic way, but in a genuinely worn‑out way. • Dirty environment — The van could really benefit from a deep clean and some maintenance. 🎯 Overall Vandemic has a fun concept and a unique setting, but the execution is let down by the condition of the van and the uneven puzzle quality. With some refurbishment and a bit more puzzle refinement, it could be a much stronger experience — but in its current state, it feels more rough than immersive.
