The room wasn’t reset properly, one of the locks was jammed, the touch screens were laggy, one of the maglocks didn’t release properly, and the puzzles were pretty basic… but ultimately I had fun. The theme was cool, and I enjoyed the immersiveness. That said, we did manage to get a private booking with 4 people for this room. If it had been with the usual 8 for Escape Game, I think it would have been a lesser experience.

Cool set design and a neat concept. Puzzles were pretty basic erring on the side of tedious, and there were few to no opportunities for parallelizing. The touch screen components were laggy and we had some mechanical issues (jammed locks, items not dropping, boxes opening on accident, etc) that cost us some time.

Immersive but not quite what we expected. We felt as though the beginning killed too much time. Don’t know how we were supposed to associate a poster with a vending machine. I did however enjoy the 3rd part, which sadly was where our time ended.

Awesome theme and super immersive! High tech room and staff were lovely!!

Ok room, you would be able to see how they get to reproduce the room at various locations. Well commercialized. I wouldn’t recommend going with too many people though. We were a group of 2, and felt like someone would definitely go idle if there were more than 3 or 4. There were not that many puzzles, and the layout of the room limits the number of people that could see the puzzle at the same time.

The experience was pretty good. It wasn’t spectacular but it is a chain so it does feel pretty standardized. It’s nice that it’s in a mall so there’s other things to do and pretty easy parking.
Not novel gameplay but entertaining nonetheless.
Set was good. Overall nicely done but not very immersive.
Treated very well.

If youre just getting started with escape rooms, if you’re on a date or looking to get the kids/teens into a room-this is a good choice. Technically a room where the concept is clear and the puzzles sort of go with the theme, but it all makes zero sense…..if that makes sense. The tech was good, the set design was ok. You were lead through the game and it was clear what you needed to do and what would come next. This room is next gen for sure, it’s big box, it’s using space in a much more efficient way. I wasn’t satisfied leaving, but my kid was! She liked it a lot! 2 is plenty if experienced. 4 is more than enough. Also, there was no A/C in there, so we were insanely hot(most likely from the tech)

A bit easier for experienced players but the gameplay is really superb.

Timeliner was a fun time overall. The puzzles are simple but enjoyable, the time traveling mechanic and how it is implemented is solid, and there is a healthy mix of tech and physical elements. It won't blow your mind, but it's worth a play. However, the public booking system is horrible, especially with the location being inside a mall. Unless you pay for a private room, you will almost certainly be paired with strangers. And in a room that should be max 3-4 people (we escaped with 15 minutes left with just two) putting 8 strangers together is downright criminal. We got lucky, and by calling ahead and playing at an off time (9:30 PM) we were able to get the room private for only a small extra fee. Essentially, if you can garuntee a private room (either by paying or walking up a few minutes before the room starts after checking online to see its empty) this is a thumbs up. If you arnt willing to shell out the cash or the time to make it happen, it's probably not going to be a great time. TEG, please give us the option to book private games online again, especially at off times.

A solid room that had decent puzzles. Nothing shockingly amazing but nothing was bad at all. Just a solid room. If you’re experienced don’t need more than 2-3. It can be done solo but they’ll mix you in with strangers anyway. Kinda unintentionally warm in the room though FYI.
