The Portlandia is an old decked up apartment and it is no fun to get stuck in here. This game is full of surprises and needs your involvement to escape.

Portlandia: Our crazy roommate is up to his nonsense again and we needed to find the rent money he's hidden away and pay the rent before the landlord arrived. Prison Break: Locked away in a prison cell, our group of fellow felons had to fly the coop. Pros: The game masters were very kind and gave us a quick orientation to the process before starting each of our games. The set in Portlandia was decorated to look like an apartment room . We enjoyed the puzzles throughout the game all of which were very logical. Prison Break's set was very realistic and the puzzles mostly straight-forward though communication was an issue because of the larger numbers of players stuffed into the room. Cons: We struggled a bit with the sheer number of puzzles in both rooms. That coupled with a major fail in completing the final puzzle led to our inability to make the escape in Portlandia before time ran out. We encountered the same problem in Prison Break with a large number of puzzles to solve and in this case too many people in one room. We did finally escape with only minutes to spare but only by encouraging our newbie playing partners to hurry it along. The concept of a clicking clock is sometimes lost on new players. The immersive set had us feeling a little too trapped perhaps. β In the end, a great time was had by all. We would definitely return to Escape Games PDX to play more games next time we are in Portland.

Fun room with plenty of puzzles. The company requires 3 minimum, but two people could easily complete it.
Nice non-linear gameplay.

This one is a pretty busy room. A lot of ways to divide and conquer, and a lot of novel puzzles. We love the team and escape games pdx, Iβm a little sad that weβve now completed all the rooms there. π highly recommend requesting Sarah or Zach, theyβre the best game masters weβve had. π€ Also, youβre going to want to - but DONT JUMP.
DONT JUMP. YOURE GONNA WANT TO JUMP. BUT DONT DO IT.
Ask for Zach or Sarah - theyβre the best!!!

We completed this escape room with 3 players back around 2021-2022. This was a very cute escape room. Definitely great and perfect for tourists and visitors. It is a great way to learn about Portland. I remember the room being a little worn, i.e. gone through a lot of players and teams throughout the years. Well decorated, and great staff.

Fun theme. Itβs a pretty decent first gen room. Low tech. Lock heavy.

I do not recommend as a 2 person group. While it can be done. When we played this room we were at about 40 rooms. There is just a lot to do. Sort of like Playground from escape game. Just a lot even for an experienced duo
