Welcome to your first day as the newest Zookeepers in-training at the Tacoma Zoo & Aquarium. Today, Zookeeper Jones will lead you through our accelerated training program filled with numerous puzzles and tests which are designed to teach you all that you need to know about the animals that call our zoo their home. By the end of this training program, you will know if you have what it takes to be a world class zookeeper. Even though this is the easier of the two rooms at Cityscape, it was still really fun and challenging enough for our family of 4. It had great flow of the puzzles and would be a blast with a smaller group or with someone new to escape rooms to get them hooked! Plus I learned some cool info about animals at the zoo! Bonus :)

One of our favorite rooms ever. Our gamemaster was great. We enjoyed the puzzles. The facility is undergoing some work so the lobby and such were not great but the room was fine. Another bonus: We were in town on their day off, but they were able to make arrangements for us to be there.

One of the puzzles was not working properly and our gamemaster did a good job of getting us around that obstacle without just giving the answer. Our clock was stopped during this time.

The game design and puzzles felt thoughtfully curated and they were very satisfying to solve, with a great sense of fun and whimsy. We had a super enthusiastic GM. Perfect marks for a game in its category, and one we hope to play again with our young nephews in the future when they’re older. We’re excited to come back and try more games from Cityscape in the future!

This was an absolutely fantastic room. We went with. Group of 3 players, which is a perfect size for experienced players. The game master even came in early to accommodate us so we could play the game before our flights out of Seattle. The organization of puzzles and non linear gameplay in this room is incredible.

Absolutely loved this room! Very fun and Tacoma themed, got to learn about the local animals. Great and interesting puzzles!

Super cute room! The owner, Daniel, designed this with families and kids in mind. He cautions this isn’t your room to do the hardest puzzles ever. He did want puzzles adults would enjoy solving but overall, enjoy the room. It, too, is a different spin on a theme you don’t see much of. Also designed with a local flair. This room included super cool puzzles I have never seen before as well. Again with the use of color, I love it! I absolutely love his creativity and wanting to include families. Our team of 3 loved this room! Basically, go do the Cityscape Games rooms!

Calling all zookeepers and animal lovers. Cityscape Games has one of the best onboarding trainings in the business! It was so much fun playing the Zookeeper escape room. We were zookeepers in training and this was our first day on the job but somehow we managed just fine. Our group of three played Rockstar and then Zookeeper on the same day. While Rockstar had the more difficult room when it comes to puzzles, zookeeper had all the things I would want in my zoo experience minus the actual animals themselves. The puzzles were informational and family friendly. It was also much more guided and because of this, there were more puzzles to do! I love and also not love the feeling of completion just because I did not want the experience to end. Shout out to Daniel and Bubba for making this whole trip a memorable one. Seattle will always have a special place in my heart and Cityscapes is one of those reasons!

An escape room designed to be robust for kids that adults can appreciate. Came for the paws and stayed for the puns. Lots of hands on puzzles and with a hidden educational agenda, my favorite kind of ulterior motive. The flow from one puzzle to another scratches an itch that I look for in every room I go to. Very intuitive! Can't wait to come back someday!
