Jack The Ripper

I rate this room a 3/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). This room was the least favorite for me between the 3 we did (vampire's Lair and Merlin). That being said, they all got 3 points. Set/theme was ok in the first part and worse in the second. The whole serial killer theme is really overdone in escape rooms (I mean, how many severed body parts do I have to see already! 🤮). But this set wasn't even spooky IMO. Puzzles weren't that intuitive as evidenced by us needing more hints then we needed in the other rooms. That makes the experience more frustrating than fun. Overall, just another average experience at this location.

Challenging room and a lot of fun. We escaped with a little time to spare. Some puzzles were a little touchy and required some extra manipulation but all in all, a really fun room.

This was a room with puzzles. It sure was. This room definitely has some miles on it but the theme was fun and some puzzles enjoyable. There were some mechanisms that were very testy and it wasn’t until we asked for help that we realized we were right but the mechanism was weird. We still had fun and enjoyed some of the final puzzles. It was a nice addition to our short Palm Springs trip.

Not my favorite. This game felt disjointed and some of the releases did not work. That stalled our time. The theming felt weak. Would not recommend.

This room was interesting! I remember it took a little bit for us to get enough clues to get really going but then the room pulled together after that. It was fun to “outsmart the cops” and deduce for ourselves. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating!

Good potential but too many things did not work as intended resulting in right answers but nothing happening and lost time

This was a clue game IRL. It was so much fun, i love rooms where you have to figure out the who, what, when, where and why. Finding clues all through the game, having to tally it all up at the end and figure out who the killer was, was so fun. The room decor was creepy feeling and very well done. The puzzles were also pretty challenging which got our brains pumping!

I couldn’t wait to get out of this room.

Solo’d this room! My second at ER Palm Springs. It was awesome they let me play it alone. Great challenge. Unlike other rooms, you actually have to correctly solve the case to “win” so pay attention to the last puzzle. I correctly solved the case with a little time to spare. My advice, if you think a puzzle works a certain way, even though it might seem far fetched, try it anyway! You might be on to something.
