426 escape rooms
The story and acting in La Peluqueria were good and memorable, and it has some interesting ideas, but it also felt uneven. Some areas of the set felt underdecorated, and the pacing felt off. Notably, one area introduces a lot of content with little signposting about what's possible to make progress on and what's not yet completable. Some of the puzzles felt tacked on and not super well motivated (to some extent this is true for most escape rooms, but I thought it was worse here). One puzzle is amusing in concept but I think stands out as something that should have been cut in the design phase, and it's especially difficult for foreign players. I would have appreciated some more closure to one of the plot threads, and think it was a missed opportunity to tighten up the story.
