A solid game for those in the area. I wouldn’t recommend making this one of your stops in Montreal since there are better in the area. This one is better than chaos in wonderland in terms of set but we had more technical difficulties.

We’re sorry for the technical difficulties you encountered. During your visit, there was an unusually intense power surge across the building — the first time in three years we’ve seen it this severe — which likely affected rooms without padlocks more noticeably. We also noticed your comment about not making this a stop in Montreal area. Of course, every player has different tastes, and it might just be that our room style isn’t your personal favorite. This was a very fun game. Unfortunately, we had some technical difficulties and that did impact our experience. Also, the puzzles felt a bit repetitive at times.

It was my 54 room. Had fun but a little easy for me and my group. Finished in les then 45 minutes. The decor was nice and there were nice puzzles. This is our second room at this location. Will come back to try the other rooms.

Jeu avec un theme bien sympathique. Pas autant que la GM mais quand même. C'est un jeu bien fais avec des énigmes bien conçus. Une certaine partis demande beaucoup de communication et de patience. Donc soyez prêt !

The theme/set is my favorite part of Mimi Cupcakes; it felt whimsical but semi-believable, like a toned down Willy Wonka. I liked the transition zone between the first and second areas. Puzzles generally felt good, though I think the second area was stronger than the first.

The set design and environment in this game was great (all the way to the smells) The characters were fun and the concept of the game was great! I wasn’t a fan of the puzzles in this game. It heavily relied on re-use of information, and I thought there wasn’t much direction for puzzle solutions. I wanted to like this more than I did in the end. The ending was cute!

Beautiful set, great puzzles, inventive use of tech (owner mentioned they built all of their software/hardware in-house). Incredibly friendly owners and hosts. Puzzles are the forefront at this location as a whole (challenging but fun). Don’t sleep on this place if you are in the Montreal area or planning a trip here. Just all around fun and made me hungry.
