Crypt Of The Vampire

Okay room with minimal locks/keys. It was mostly tech. I personally felt like there wasn’t a whole lot to do in the room in general, and especially so because it was nonlinear. Compound that with the fact that you have to use a journal that is provided to you to solve most of the puzzles, and you can begin to see how the room is not meant for many people. I would go as far as to say you could easily do this solo except for one puzzle requires 2 people. It’s still a fun room but any more than two people and one person will be pretty bored.

This is not a very good experience. While the first room is good and how you are guided through the beginning 20 minutes is very creative, after this point it is pretty terrible. How it is set up to give you clues after this point is awful. Only 1 person can really figure anything out, I completely lost interest. The clue system also makes no sense and doesn’t go together. This is one of the worst rooms I have ever done.

Very detailed room and loved the “hint system” in The first room! Super unique.

Gotta be honest here, room was not hard at all, but the puzzles just didn’t flow well for me in my opinion. I understand why some people didn’t quite like it and I’m on definitely on that train.

Really cool set design. Loved the vampire theme! A spooky theme but not scary

Enjoyed this room for the most part. Thought the puzzle flow was a little off at times and that there could have been a few more puzzles.

I now understand why someone had recommended embracing the cheesiness of the room. Our group naturally embraced the room’s cheesiness, & enjoyed ourselves.

This room was fantastic. Great vibes and set pieces, funny/campy gags and voice acting - right up my alley! The final puzzle and ending was very satisfying. This was less chaotic and more straightforward than the Wizard room and a little easier, but not a beginner room. It's mostly linear, which can be a positive or negative depending on your style - I like both. (I preferred this room over Wizard's Tower - this was just more fun, but Wizard's had more of a wow factor due to its tech. I loved both and will be back for more.) EDIT: After having played all four rooms at Mystique, this remains my favorite. Good set, with a real sense of fun that I dont think any other room there captures.

Had a couple of tech issues, one of which made us win the game without completing a couple of the puzzles. As a result it was my least favorite game here
