Within the vast untamed jungle of the Yucatan peninsula lies a network of ancient Aztec ruins. Our cartographers believe they have narrowed down the hidden location of their most sacred burial ground. You and your team are being sent on an expedition to explore the tomb. However, expeditions have been disappearing in this region since before the Spanish arrived, so we can only speculate on the treacherous condition of the ruins. Tread carefully and beware… a tomb is no place for the living.

This was my first taste of a high quality and well designed escape room. I'd done a couple before it, but Portal Adventure's Tomb of the Gods was the room that got me hooked on escape rooms. It's not the most challenging room I've run, but it was engaging and fun, and required clever thinking while still being accessible to newer escapists. I wish I could forget it so I could experience it again.
Incredibly rewarding puzzles with a very good flow between them.
Set design and effects were wonderful and cleverly designed.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Not at all
Aside from the usual running back and forth from one puzzle to the next, very little physical ability is required.

They had some cool puzzles. Some tech. Cute set.

I will preface this by saying that I LOVE the Mansion rooms at Portal, but this room left us extremely disappointed in comparison. We blew through it in under 30 minutes despite 2 broken puzzles and were really left wanting better. The set design was interesting, but clearly showing it's age and wear and tear. We even ended up bypassing a puzzle by solving it a completely different way than it was designed. Sadly, not recommended.
