Our group of five really enjoyed our time at shimmer reef. The room was very pretty and had some cool effects, and a couple of puzzles that we've never seen before. It would not be too scary for kids, and I'd love to bring my kids back for it. I recommend!

Our GM, Will, was great! So chill and friendly. Room was so fun, probably my favorite in this location, so thematic. We had three experienced players in our group and it was a perfect mix of puzzles that could be done simultaneously vs together. None of us ever lacked for something to work on but it still took most our time to escape.

We love to travel and do rooms and this one was a very cute, unique theme. The timer was especially fun. Loved the tech and there were a couple puzzles we hadn’t ever seen before! Highly recommend! Good for all ages

Really fun escape room. I enjoyed the mechanism for the timer, and the theming and such were all on point. We had a party of 7 and pretty much everyone had something to do at all times but the room was set up for us to all come together for big moments.

This place has the greatest GM’s. I don’t k is where they hire from, but never had a GM i disliked. The game room is large enough for a group, the puzzles varied in style and variety. Clean. Well maintained

My friends and I made the trek from Seattle to Renton to check out Sure Lock Escapes’s TERPECA-nominated rooms, Guardian’s Grove and Shimmer Reef. We're a group of 7 experienced escapers, each with 10-40 rooms under our belts. The storyline was engaging, and the room itself was a blast. Even with our extensive experience, we still encountered some tricky challenges, which kept all of us actively engaged. The room was well-paced and there was always something for everyone to be working on simultaneously. Shimmer Reef had some fantastic puzzles that could be parallelized without stepping all over each other, which was great for our larger group. There were also a lot more moving, beautiful pieces that were quite fun and added a lot to the experience.
