50 escape rooms
Ok so as we know, Escapology is a solid mainstream escape room chain. They are reliable, you can count on the puzzles to work, and the rooms are always linear. Which honestly - love that. They make escape rooms feel very accessible to your average person, aka us. This is the newest theme that has opened at this Garwood location, and honestly it was a solid room. I wouldn't say it was my favorite, or the best one, but if you're into pirates then this is a good choice. We did this as a group of 4, and had a fun time. I love a good crawl-through. Why was the intro video so long though.... we got the pirate's entire life story me thinks. Anyways, solid room and honestly would be fun for kids.
It flowed well - honestly the whole intro video was nonsense and did not relate to the story but the atmosphere was fun which helped us get into the game. Escapology always gives you a VERY clear place to start, including a list of to-do items usually which makes this linear and easy.
Can always count on them to kill it with the atmosphere (bc big budget). Definitely felt like a pirate's ship!
The team at the Garwood location is always amazing! Love them.
No
It was fine! Particularly interesting or different - no. It was simple.
The plot was not memorable per se, but definitely was giving pirate ship.
Medium
I would lean to the easier side, but there was one puzzle in particular that was tricky.
High tech
I feel like escapology you can always count on having good tech.
