Temporarily Closed - This unearthly scare zone is making its sinister return to the park, Forsaken Lake. Once again, the lake underneath Silver Bullet reveals the horrors and creatures it’s kept hidden, until now. Forsaken Lake will unleash gothic creatures, which have been ravaged by the dark and murky waters, as they wander their crypts preying on unsuspecting visitors, looking for victims to drag back to their watery graves.

While conveniently located, the $35 price tag leaves you feeling angry, ripped off, and taken advantage of. Definitely carpool if you can.

Prepare to be spooked. The Knott’s actors are waiting around every turn and know how to pop out at just the right moment to make you jump. The set design is highly detailed and designed for terror at Knott’s Scary Farm. A few cons: the mazes are all very loud with sound effects and music that do little to add to the ambience of fear but do make you want to get out quicker. There is high amount of gore in most of the mazes. We generally prefer haunts that rely on spine-chilling creepiness rather than ritual slaughter. But to each their own. The scare zones are where the scares are at! So definitely head there with your scaredy cat friends.

Nice atmosphere, but sadly overshadowed by The Gauntlet nearby.

Always a pleasure to stroll down this macabre Victorian nightmare. While the scare zone is small, it boasts terrific scare actors, fog effects, and set pieces. The costume design is top-notch. If you are lucky enough, you might even catch a funeral procession, one of Scary Farm's secret random encounters.

Like a beautiful victorian dream. Adore everything about it, if it were a actual place I would live there. The costumes are outstanding, talent is ready the moment you walk by them, the props, sounds and heavy fog are absolutely perfect. The procession is one of my favorite things to watch.

I experienced this scare zone last year and it left a good first impression. I love the theme, the set designs and all the different Scareactors and their stories. The costume designs and make-up work are the best in my opinion. There’s a pretty cool procession/incantation they do a few times that you gotta see. It was giving Mardi Gras funeral March vibes. This year they have added a little more decor than last year. But I hope they expand this out further in the future.
