This is a well-designed room with fun simple puzzles. It is on the easier side but my group still found it fun and challenging enough. It’s great for a group of mixed ability/experience or with children!
There are flashing lights in the first room that are for aesthetic purposes (not a clue or integral to the room). They offered the group the choice to turn them off or keep them on without flashing prior to entry.
Group size: 3
Each clue/puzzle is only used once, however, the room is non-sequential. This was fun but something to keep in mind! The locks were in great condition and far less finicky than any other escape room I’ve done.
I was not overly impressed by set decorations or design. They did give an accessibility warning for flashing lights, however, these do not factor into game play and can be turned off at the group’s request.
The GM was helpful, kind, and fun! I appreciated the lock demo before the room.
The theme is relatively child friendly. It’s spooky but the room does not rely on gore and horror effects. The puzzles might be challenging for this age, however, with adult guidance they’d be okay.
