The artworld is in shock when news breaks that arguably the most famous painting in the world has been stolen, the Mona Lisa is missing. The Louvre in Paris that housed the world-famous art piece by Da Vinci, has offered a massive reward, of $50 million. As an underworld art dealer yourself, you hear on the grapevine that the flamboyant and extremely dangerous Russian billionaire and art gallery owner, Vladimir Stepanov, is responsible for the theft. Stepanov has a reputation as a ruthless and dangerous businessman - get caught, and there’s no telling what he will do. The risks are heavy, but so is the reward. Your team gathers together and forms a plan to infiltrate Stepanov’s private gallery where you are sure he’s stashed away the Mona Lisa. Through your contacts, in the underground art world, your group secures an invite to his gallery. You manage to sneak away from the guards and are able to hide out until the gallery closes. The guards make their rounds once every hour so you must hurry! One of the world’s greatest pieces of art lies in wait. Use your teamwork to uncover its location and make it out. But you mustn't get caught, if Stepanov’s guards discover you, it will surely be the end for your group. Work fast and remember, time is of the essence!

Two key puzzles had unclear answers, to the point where we would never have figured out one without the GM providing a pre-designed diagram of how to find the solution. However, the special effects were VERY good and I loved the physically-active portion.

This was honestly my favorite room at this location. The puzzles were nice and the room was well made and the ending was top notch with one last cool puzzle to do. If you only get the chance to do one room here, do this one.

This game was fun, but there were a few puzzles that we had a hard time connecting. We used several hints because we weren't sure how to use information once we solved a puzzle.

Puzzle Quality: 10/20 Looks/Theme: 7/15 GameMaster Rating: 8/10 Operation Fluidity: 4/5 Combined Rating: 29/50 Overall Difficulty: 5.5/10 CATEGORIES EXPLAINED IN MORE DETAIL BELOW: Puzzle Quality - How intuitive, logical, and unique the puzzles were. How well do the puzzles fit the theme? Looks/Theme - How much effort, time, and money went into making an immersive and unique atmosphere. GameMaster Rating - How attentive and helpful was the game master? Were the hints given in a timely manner and were they quality hints that helped but did not give you the solution too directly? Operation Fluidity - Was the game reset properly? Was it clean inside the room? Were the code entry and solution methods working properly as intended? Overall Difficulty - This is fairly subjective but is mostly correlated to how many total puzzles and how time consuming they each are compared against the 60 minute time limit that almost all rooms have. Combined Rating - Simply a total tally out of 50 of the four main categories. (Puzzle Quality and Looks/Theme are weighted a little more because they are the most important parts of having a good experience). The higher the number, the better the room! Just remember that a 5/10 or 7.5/15 or a 25/50 combined rating is an AVERAGE rating (for some reason in most people’s heads, a 5/10 is a below average or bad rating). So if a room has a combined rating of above 25, then it is a quality room and a good experience that I would recommend! It has to be a really well done room to score above a 35.

Pretty fun room but nothing extraordinary, it’s only one room without a lot of wow factor. I did this with a group who doesn’t do rooms very often and they had fun, but I also think some of the puzzles would be hard for a group of only beginners, as some of the puzzles weren’t super intuitive.

The game isn’t exceptionally hard but the clues being a stretch make it difficult. Not one of Escapology’s best rooms.
Game didn’t flow very well. Some clues were definitely vague and a stretch as other reviewers have said. Mostly linear but mostly frustrating.

I wish I could give a in the middle thumb for this room. Some of the puzzles were a stretch, only one room, would be difficult for beginners. Was an okay room, nothing too exciting.
Flow was meh… it was a mix of hard and medium

This room had no flow. The puzzles were a little confusing. And it took over a minute to get a clue and then they gave us a clue for something we didn’t have yet. Very disappointed. Not worth the money. The trigger doors didn’t trigger. Very low budget room and small. This was the worst room we have done in Orlando and we have done 90 plus rooms.
