Black Dragon

Thematically the room was VERY cool. The set design was amazing. It really felt like you were in Hong Kong. Love that. The puzzles themselves weren't too complicated but there were a lot of them to solve and we were able to spread out and each take on something different. Some puzzles werent very obvious where to look to get started - but it was fine. Our GM was in the room with us and she sometimes came in and gave hints a few times when we didn't necessarily want them. Might have been our fault for not shooing her away. I asked a question of "has this puzzle been solved yet" and she gave me a hint unprompted and it took away a bit from us figuring it out ourselves. We still had plenty of time so I wasn't too big of a fan of that happening. Otherwise she was very nice and fun.

This is one of the best, if not the best, I’ve done. The set decoration is so thorough and immersive. The puzzles are a mix of somewhat easy to challenging, and we did need a few nudges from the host. Beautiful, rich environment. Highly recommended!

This room is incredible, please do yourself a favor and play it! Sam is a beyond incredible GM, and she made everything super fun for us. This is a non-linear room and one of the coolest non-linear experiences that I’ve ever done. This room is the definition of sprawling, as more and more and more space opens as you progress, and it really feels like you’re in an alleyway and a packed city. The rarity of puzzles is incredible, and please experience this as blind as possible because the novelty of it all is incredible!

Wow. The back alley set is really impressive. There are a lot of puzzles in this expansive room and they were definitely more difficult than the average room, and more difficult than other rooms at this location.

Absolutely loved the environment. It was challenging. Not in a “we would have never gotten that if we hadn’t asked for help” way. It was satisfying when we escaped! But the design of the room takes the prize. So thoughtful and detailed.

I loved the theming and the puzzles were novel and had a good variety.

Our GM Jelly was amazing. She really played into her role and made our experience sooo much better. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. Enjoyed having to really think outside the box for these puzzles. The attention to detail in this room was so well thought out and made you feel immersed into exactly what the description says. Recommend this escape room to anyone looking for a great time beating challenging puzzles!

The set really is amazing, but the puzzles are quite lacking in comparison. It alternates between "do this and find the solution" to "really? THAT's the solution?" I think there were only 1 puzzle that felt very satisfying, but the set design was truly immersive.

Might be biased bc I’m from Hong Kong, but one of my favorites of all time. Super unique start and gameplay progression allows for parallel processing. Set design one of the best I’ve seen and a lot of puzzles rooted in true Hong Kong culture, GM really helps tie the experience together.

The Hong Kong theme was perfectly done. We loved how every puzzle really tied into it. Everything was pretty straightforward. Our GM was super welcoming and helpful too. Definitely recommend!
