Lost City Of Atlantis

A perfectly serviceable escape room with some fun tech. Albeit the company as a whole is about $10-15 overpriced for the value you get in the room. Puzzles will feel fairly familiar to those that have done a lot of rooms. Average difficulty (both for this location and in general). I enjoyed the communication aspects and the elements that made it feel very “Atlantis”. There was a mechanic in the room that the GM had to get on the speakers and tell us what to (not) do. To avoid immersion breaking they should create some story reason or signage to control this.

Surprisingly fun and well designed rooms with a great mix of tech and mechanical puzzles, effects and immersion were lovely. We will go back to play them all!

Fun room but not recommended for more than 4 (2 was fine)

Good first impression of the place, welcoming hosts. There is a waiting area with a collection of games to play. The room itself is beautifully designed, the puzzles are fun - not difficult at all if you’ve done a few escape rooms but a couple puzzles don’t have all the information needed to solve them - I don’t want to post spoilers here so I’ll leave it at that. One major negative IMO is that they don’t provide walkie-talkies to speak to the game master when we need a clue. Essentially the game master just comes into the room and solves the puzzle for you. All the other rooms I’ve been to, the game masters give a clue that helps us solve the puzzle. To me, this kills the essence of an escape room as no one should be able to enter or exit the escape room while you’re trying to solve it! For $45+ per person with the lack of basic tech like walkie-talkie, it is highly overpriced. I’ve been to much more immersive rooms which charge as much as this one but are comparatively better equipped.
