61 escape rooms
This was a well done room/experience. It is probably not in my top 10, but was great for the price. I have done other escape rooms in touristy locations that were poorly done but still got traffic due to being the only rooms in the area, and thankfully this is not like that. The lighting at the beginning of the room made it a bit difficult to see and work the puzzles, but I get that it was done on purpose to achieve a certain ambiance. Other than this, we really enjoyed the theme, puzzles, decor, and flow. Nothing was broken, and there were no “simple” locks, which stayed true to the theme.
Gameplay
As most other reviews mentioned, the gameplay is fairly linear. But for my group (less than 10 rooms each), this was the perfect pace/design. Plus, they offer “canned” hints as well as unlimited game master crafted hints, which helped us to not get into a frenzied rush and miss the obvious.
Atmosphere
Rooms were well decorated and gave an immersive feeling.
Customer service
GM was very familiar with the room and theme, and did an excellent job.
Particularly interesting or different
No
At this point, I’ve done several room with a similar theme, but it was well done, so that did not take away from the experience.
Story
Story was fun, and at the end it had a slight teaser for playing the other room at this location, which was a fun surprise.
Difficulty
Medium
We did ask for a few hints along the way, but most of our group are still sort of beginners. This allowed our entire team to play without the stress of possibly not escaping.
Game tech
High tech
The tech mostly consisted of magnetic locks, but there were specially-triggered sound effects and lighting as well. No mechanical locks, which is always more fun.
Ideal number of players
4
Because of the linear nature of the room, experienced players might find that 2-3 is the perfect number of players. We had 5, which I think is the upper limit for keeping it fun for everyone.
Scary
Not scary
Minimum age
8
Nothing scary or exceptionally difficult, but under 6 or 7 would probably find it hard to follow what is happening or be able to contribute.
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active

Accessibility
Parts of this game would prove to be difficult for mobility impaired players. But I’m sure that the GM could make accommodations for this.
