333 escape rooms
This was a great idea in concept but it faltered in the execution. The opening was the same as when it was a previous room and I wished that they had scrapped it and started us in the first room or made it at least incorporated it more into the story. Once we entered the first room I was impressed with the look of the room. It did capture the feel of the home in Stranger Things. The puzzles weren't strongly tied to the show but enough that wasn't as off putting as what was coming. At the midway point we were introduced into the biggest time suck puzzle I had ever come across in this world or the upside down. I understand that some people thrive at these types of puzzles but, in my opinion, there needs to be a work around after a certain point of time. It took us over thirty minutes to work through this puzzle with everyone on our team giving it a shot and failing. We finished it and what were we faced with..... oh yes, another time suck skill based puzzle. Actually, it was more of a do you have good aim puzzle? This is where our trip ended. They were nice enough to let us see the ending puzzles. There was no way we had any chance of beating this room unless it was a 90 minute room.
