I was pleasantly surprised by this haunt. I feel as though everyone I’ve seen compare Madworld and Nightmare Dungeon has ranked them similarly and I don’t feel like that’s true at all. After being semi-disappointed at Nightmare Dungeon, Madworld was a breath of fresh air! The haunt was well conceptualized and paced. The waiting area also had a ton of things to do and you could spend a long time looking around. It’s definitely a haunt that is worth visiting!
Scary
Not super scary but there were some solid jump scares.
I really liked the combination of animatronics and actors! The individual sections of the haunt were well conceptualized.
Yes
I can not emphasize how worth it the fast pass was! We got to Madworld about an hour after opening (because we went to Nightmare Dungeon the same night) and waited nearly 45 minutes in traffic just to park. At this point, we were contemplating whether or not we had the patience to wait in line so we opted for fast passes. Our wait was practically nonexistent (definitely less than 2 minutes). The normal wait appeared to be multiple hours long.
Yes
The trail itself was reminiscent of large scale haunts that I’ve been to in North Carolina and Georgia. The waiting area was super memorable in regards to the multitude of games, food, and shops available. (I got the best red velvet cookie I’ve ever had from the witch cottage bakery shop, 10/10 would recommend)

This haunt was fun and not the scariest thing in the world. There is an option to purchase a no scare necklace and to still go through the trail. This would be a wonderful starter haunt!
Somewhat
Some terrains are unstable (mostly tilting and shifting floorboards). There are also some unpredictable terrains when walking outside in between buildings.
I wouldn’t recommend this experience for people with mobility restrictions because of the shifting floorboards. There are also some sections (most notably the clown section) that has extreme lighting (strobe lights) and sound effects.
All staff members we interacted were very helpful!
No wait
No wait for the fastpass line even though the general admission line was packed!
30+ min
I’m not entirely sure how long this haunt was but my best estimate is right about 30 minutes. It definitely didn’t feel shorter than 30 minutes but it didn’t feel as long as 45 minutes. This does not include the unlimited amount of time that you can spend in the midway area.

Good
Okay so they were portable bathrooms BUT if you use the ones near the concessions booths there is a sink station nearby and that’s kind of a luxury.
There was plenty of parking BUT the traffic was so backed up getting into the lot that people just started to park on the side of the road and walk the rest of the way. We waited about 30-45 minutes in traffic just to park.

I would say definitely the best haunt in the area. You get your moneys worth and even just walking around the midway is fun. The owners are great guys and I’ve been going every year since they first opened. They have a cool gift shop as well!
