The Sorcerer's Secret

Pretty straight forward escape room, the mechanics/tech was pretty impressive along with the set design.

I can’t imagine a better game to introduce someone to escape rooms than Sorcerer’s Secret. While the game itself was surprisingly harder for our team than other games at the venue, it was still fairly light overall and made great use of some adaptive difficulty measures to ensure constant interaction with the set. The set and props were beautifully designed and executed magical cliches with an earnest elegance. The finale is maybe a bit intense for younger players, but it’s a grand capstone to a visually stunning game. Even before this impressive effect, the story is told through some of the most endearing characters I’ve seen in an escape room, at least on a design level. Every one could find something to love in the is game, and I truly believe that it will inspire so many future enthusiasts.

Finally got to do this room. Beautifully done room. This is definitely kid and family friendly. One of the best in the GTA. 8.4/10

Such an impressive room with so many wonderful surprises. As magical themed rooms go this is up there with one of the best I’ve played. The narrative was strong and I think it would be a perfect game to play with a family, despite to challenging puzzles, the wow factor would be such a high pay off for younger players.

Really insane animatronics, straightforward puzzles, a fun story, and a great magical vibe.

Must be in my top 10 escape rooms ever! Props and atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal and unique! We see a lot of rooms with sorcerers/magic and I have done a couple, but THIS one is by far the best executed, unique and amazing puzzle with a story that makes sense. I will recommend this room in a heartbeat!! The ending I was not expecting at all so made everything come together nicely!

This is one of my favorite rooms that I've ever played! From the puzzles, to the set design, to the story, this room is firing on all cylinders all the time. It's truly one of the best escape room experiences I've ever had.

This is probably the best you will get for a $30 room, at least $50 worth of quality if not more. Mainly 1-2 puzzles per room, and the puzzles are all quite original. The puzzles aren't hard, usually 2-step solving, but with a group of 4 or 5, the clues piece together very straightforwardly. Albeit medium difficulty, quite fun to actually do them! The last room is definitely what differentiates it from a good room to a best room. My heart review namely goes for the last room, number of rooms, and the pricing.

Really fun room from start to finish. I understand why it ranks highly on the TERPECA list. Great use of different types of tech, interesting storyline and characters, good world building and atmosphere. Enjoyable for our group with mixed experience levels!
