Fun! Very cute! However my group consisted of 5 very experienced escape room goers and we absolutely annihilated this room in half the time. So do with that info what you will.

It’s clear now that the visit to Tortuga was a mistake. Sailing under a common merchant flag, your orders were to gather supplies and return to the fleet. Port Royal would have been the smart choice, but considerably farther. On the other hand, Tortuga offered ways of purchasing the same goods for less. And with the money saved, you could spend a few days of mirth and merriment before returning to your captain, with no one the wiser. However, a group of pirates have taken advantage of your naivete. They grabbed you in the middle of the night, knocked you unconscious, and are keeping you in their storeroom until their ship is ready. Who can guess the plans of a pirate? But odds are, you’ll be thrown onto a slave ship and sent somewhere unpleasant for a lifetime of hard work with little to show for it. Unless you can escape before they return to claim you.

Wonderful room with lots of moving pieces. A tip: when you interact with something, hold. The magnets take a second to register that you're interacting with the object before opening compartments. Well themed!

This is the second room I’ve done from PanIQ and it’s another solid one. It started out great until we stumped on something so simple. After that was resolved it was a straight forward, momentous smooth sailing. The props were fantastic. Each prop served a purpose, which definitely stumped us earlier. Arrr me hearties!!! Twas a swashbuckling adventure and we had a proper rollicking time!!! Thanks host Ian!

Nice room overall. Our gm was very kind and helpful when we needed a nudge. Wished there was better indication for when the next puzzle was activated. It might feel a but underwhelming especially for players that are more familiar with escape rooms, so it’s great for beginners. 5/10

Great room. We did escape rather quickly but overall it was fun. Had one minor issue with a puzzle but was able to get it to work in the end. Not my favorite room by PanIQ but a good room nonetheless. I honestly feel it's a good "first timer" room or one you can definitely do with a younger group (10-12ish year olds).

We had so much fun! Escaped w 22:16 left on the clock. Team of 4, and we've done a few rooms together before. Unique elements, great atmosphere, GM was Jenna and she was awesome (we didn't use any hints or nudges, so her job was easy... ;)

Smaller room, I think this is honestly better for either 2 people or a group of 2-4 that are newer to escape rooms. Good puzzles, but seemed to have fewer compared to other rooms I've done.

A good, family fun time! We liked the pirate vibe of the room. Some pretty interesting puzzles and just had one puzzle that gave us a challenge. Our fault for not being observant. We were able to get a groupon for this to save a bit of $$ and I would say that this was worth doing because of that. GM was really friendly and her positive energy got us ready to take on the room. Parking can be a bit of a challenge and ended up having to use the paid parking a block away. Overall, we thought the quality of the room was good and worth doing if you can find a groupon or maybe a weekday discount.
