The Georgetown Morgue

AMAZING!! Rooms awesome - highly recommend. Perfectly disgusting props and Elizabeth, our game master, was fantastic, fun, and so helpful! Make sure you get her!

We went with a group of 5 (three new players) and we all had a fun time. We throughly examined each room and just basically enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and took time to admire the set and read through each clue! It was a lot of evidence collection coupled with some light reading and locks/codes. I’d suggest people who are doing this room to not rush through things and just enjoy the process.

This game was fine. The set was nice and expectedly unsettling. The puzzles, except for one, were very standard. We had a total failure of what would have been the most unique puzzle in the game, and the GM had no idea that it did not work. For seemingly no reason, we bypassed it without actually doing anything. Overall, it is okay, and I would not recommend it for any group size over 4 (and they have a minimum of 4), but this is their easiest game.

GM was creative in giving hints! I also enjoyed the different types of hints— creative, scavenger, and logical.

Puzzles were different from other escape rooms. It seemed more like a scavenger hunt and clues weren't laid out in a linear way. Cool concept, not scary. Location itself is kinda scary. Plus side is that GM sees and hears everything, will nudge when needed.

This room was fine. I’m pretty neutral on it. I wouldn’t say it’s a must do, but I wouldn’t say don’t do it either. The setting was pretty immersive and some of the puzzles were a little different (in a good way). We had a group of 7 of various experience and it was too many. Their website says the room is for 4-8 people, but I would say no more than 5 or 6.

Seattle escape games is a wonderful escape room company! This is a great room, especially for less experienced escape room enthusiast. Our group enjoyed this room, but enjoyed the other rooms as Seattle escape games a little bit more. However, it was still a fun room. The story was just a little less immersive than other rooms there.
