I did three rooms at this location today. My ordering of favorites is pirates, wizards, and sadly lastly this one. Lots of clever puzzles, the gameplay itself was great. Just felt a bit stagnant with many times feeling like we had no way to progress without a hint. Maybe it's because we are beginners. Slightly creepy. I would mark it as scary for myself, but that's because my threshold is quite low.

Even though this was an easy room (45 minute time limit) it included a good amount of rooms and puzzles I’ve never seen. Big thing I’ve been liking about PanIQ rooms is the amount of dexterity puzzles they include. At least 3 of the major puzzles were dexterity based and it’s always refreshing when they aren’t run of the mill “find the numbers, put them in a combo lock”. The aesthetic is the perfect escape room spooky and things opening certainly had their desired jump-scare effect.

Simple to the point room that stuck to its theme. All the puzzles had a good flow to them with us only getting stuck twice. Granted the two times were: we just didn’t open a drawer and we didn’t trigger the sensor for a puzzle. The theme was fun and spooky but not overly scary at any point. Fair warning though, lots of dolls if that isn’t your thing. Fun breezy experience for the two of us.

A slightly shorter escape room than normal clocking in at a 45 minute time limit makes this room a bit easier to do than others. That said there are a few very clever puzzles, or at least clever implementations, that some groups may get somewhat stuck on for a little while that took us by surprise. The room does make use of them in several places which does slightly up the difficulty vs time aspect. Atmosphere is pretty good, well designed for the theme. Overall a decent quick and easyish room, enough so that we got on the 30 day leaderboard. Our game masters Jonathan, Flavio, and Jenna were fantastic.

I had the best time at PanIQ! Truly a gem among downtown Long Beach. My gamemaster Lizzie was incredible - she was so friendly and helpful and truly made it an unforgettable experience. I played the haunted manor room and I think it’d be great for an experienced group of 2 or a young family of 3-4. spooky, but not too scary! can’t wait to go back and play the rest of their rooms! (btw free 2 hour parking in the DTLB parking lots!)
I really liked the cuing system! almost all the cues were in character/story
my gamemaster lizzie was beyond amazing! she was so helpful and friendly - i hope i have her again next time I’m back!

it was a welcomed challenge for one person! would probably be easy for 2-3 experienced players, but still worthwhile! would recommend for a young family or new players of groups of 4
maybe low key high tech. i loved that there were no actual locks in this room! made sense in story and helped me stay in the world

Spooky fun! I liked that the puzzles and props were old timey to fit the era of the theme. It's a shorter room (45 minutes, I think) but the variety of puzzles are challenging enough for it. Thank you to our GM Jonathan for making it even more fun!

Parking right in front is short term, but a block away there's street meters and a structure. Free street parking a few blocks further but might be trickier if weekends when area is busy.

Fun game fit well for beginners! This is a 45 minute room that is pretty straightforward. The set design is solid and there were a couple unique puzzles in here, though no real WOW moments. Our game master was great! Super friendly and really helpful! We had a lot of fun!
