Abandoned Motel

Lets start with the positives: Lovely staff, fun environment and they genuinely want to make sure you have a great time. The room was nicely themed, large footprint, multiple areas to explore and a variety of puzzles to tackle. The vibe was great. The not so positive: I struggled with what to give the rating. I went back and forth with thumbs up and down but ultimately went with thumbs down which only reflects the room not the place or staff. I also think this is only my third thumbs down out of 100+ rooms (maybe four). My favorite rooms involve story tied to puzzles so that is my grading bias. I also factor in value for the investment for how much the room cost. This thumbs down was parts flow and cost. There was no flow. There were random tasks that some played into the theme, others were kinda ... random. There was not a lot of rhyme or reason to some of the elements and why they tied together. If your preference for rooms does not involve flow, you might actually really enjoy this room. There was a wide variety of things to do and some were inventive and creative. However for my taste for the flow and story relative to the cost of the room (this was a premium-priced room); this just didn't hit my mark. I will say we played a second room and I really enjoyed The Dig.

We have done all the rooms at Legends or Xscape and this was my favorite! Just the right amount of spooky/scary. While there wasn’t a live actor per se, there are people who do things, so you might want to ask them not to if you don’t want it as spooky. Puzzles were great and some were really spooky which matched the theme well. The gamemaster/ employees were great and talked all things escape room with us. This was our first one here and probably my favorite, but honestly liked them all.

Surprisingly great game! Spooky and at times some surprises so be ready! Great atmosphere, great room design great flow and clever puzzles as well. A whole lot of fun! I didn’t expect to give this a heart but totally deserves it. Can’t wait to try the other rooms.

Definitely was one of my favorite escape rooms. I would definitely recommend for ages 12 and up!

Great game, lots of fun, scary but fun at the same time!! Nick did an awesome job as game master!!

This was a GREAT room! The puzzles flowed really well and there were some unique elements/tools that we haven’t seen in any other games we’ve played. Also loved that there was a nice mix of tech and mechanical aspects. Our team of 4 had an awesome time! Only thing that surprised us a little bit was that the Gamemaster said it was their most challenging room; our experienced team of 4 flew through it pretty smoothly - we only asked for help once, and still finished with like 12 mins to spare. We felt that this was on the easier side of rooms that we have done. Excellent experience all-around, though - would definitely recommend!

One of the best games I’ve played. I’ve played 100+ and have more than just what’s logged on Morty. Seriously amazing
